''Timely!!'' is the sixth studio album by Japanese singer Anri. Overview The album was a collaboration between Toshiki Kadomatsu and Anri. It is considered one of Anri's best albums. The single " Cat's Eye" served as the opening for the 1983 anime series ''Cat's Eye''. It was one of the highest selling singles in Japan in 1983, remaining number-one for five consecutive weeks. The single was re-recorded for the album and was later covered by girl group MAX in 2010. Toshiki Kadomatsu
is a Japanese city pop singer-songwriter, musician, and producer. He has released many studio albums, as well as several instrumental and live albums. He has been active since at least 1981 and is still active, having released his most recent album in August 2022. Biography Kadomatsu began playing music at around grade 4 or 5, after seeing his older brother playing guitar and wanting to try it himself. Kadomatsu studied philosophy at Nihon University, where he participated in the university's music club. While still studying, he debuted as a musical artist in 1981 with single ''YOKOHAMA Twilight Time'' and the album ''Sea Breeze''. In 1987, he released the hit instrumental album ''SEA IS A LADY'' which charted at No. 4. From 1993 to 1998, he went on a hiatus from releasing music and touring to focus on producing and songwriting for other Japanese artists, before returning with a successful comeback tour in 1999. , known as , is a Japanese pop singer-songwriter, originating from Yamato, Kanagawa Prefecture. Biography Her debut release was the 1978 ''Oribia o Kikinagara'' (While Listening to Olivia), written by Amii Ozaki. Her song "Cat's Eye" was used as the first opening theme for the eponymous 1983 anime series '' Cat's Eye'' and debuted as No. 1 on ''Countdown Japan''. It spent 4 weeks at No. 1 on the Oricon chart. It was one of the first J-pop songs used as an anime theme song. In 2017, she performed this song live at the opening of the touring ice show Fantasy on Ice amongst others. City Pop
