Troitske ( uk, Троїцьке; russian: link=no, Троицкое) is a village in Yasynuvata Raion (district) in Donetsk Oblast of eastern Ukraine, at 31.1 km NNE from the centre of Donetsk city. Kurdiumivka
Kurdiumivka ( uk, Курдюмівка; russian: link=no, Курдюмовка) is an rural settlement in Bakhmut Raion, Donetsk Oblast in eastern Ukraine. It is located north-northeast from the centre of Donetsk city. Population: History 20th century Kurdiumivka was founded in 1936, growing up around a railway station. During World War II, Kurdiumivka was occupied by Nazi Germany between October 1941 and September 1943. In 1957, it received rural settlement status. Its population slowly shrank throughout the second half of the 20th century. 21st century The war in Donbas that started in mid-April 2014, brought both civilian and military casualties. Krasnohorivka (, ; ) is a city in Donetsk Oblast (province) of Ukraine. Population: ; 16,714 (2001). History The town was founded in the first half of the 19th century by migrants from the Ukrainian villages of Poltava Governorate and Kharkov Governorate. Starting mid-April 2014 pro-Russian separatists captured several towns in Donetsk Oblast; including Krasnohorivka. On 1 August 2014 Ukrainian forces had liberated the city from pro-Russian separatists. The town then became situated close to the frontline with the separatist-controlled Donetsk. Zolote ( uk, Золотé; russian: Золотóе; lit. «Golden») is a city in Sievierodonetsk Raion, Luhansk Oblast (region) of Ukraine. Population: . The town consists of villages that were merged to create Zolote. Currently these villages are numbered in a sequence from Zolote 1 to Zolote 5. Before the creation of Zolote they were named Karbonit, Rodina, Stakhanovets, Maryvka and Partyzansky. Missing in action (MIA) is a casualty classification assigned to combatants, military chaplains, combat medics, and prisoners of war who are reported missing during wartime or ceasefire.
