Time Of Your Life (1988 TV Series)
''Time of Your Life'' was a Canadian television soap opera which ran production from August 1988 to May 1989. It was created by producer Harry Jakobs and Maryse Wilder, Rhea Cohen and Maurice Thevenet. The series was loosely based on the low budget Canadian independent feature '' Rebel High'' (a modern 1980s '' High School Confidential''). It debuted on October 17, 1988, and was aired right after the American soap opera ''General Hospital'' at 4pm, daily Monday through Friday replacing Bob Barker's '' The Price Is Right''. Making it at the time Canada's first daily syndicated soap opera with all 130 episodes shot two weeks in advance to air date until completion of the first-season cliffhanger. ''Caillou'' () is a Canadian educational children's television series which aired on Teletoon (both English and French versions), with its first episode airing on the former channel on September 15, 1997; it later moved to Treehouse TV, with its final episode being shown on that channel on October 3, 2010. The Gibeau Orange Julep restaurant (also known colloquially as OJ or The Big Orange or The Julep) is a roadside attraction and fast food restaurant in Montreal, Quebec, Canada. The building is in the shape of an orange, three stories high, with a diameter of . History The Restaurant was started by Hermas Gibeau in 1932 to serve his trademark drink the Gibeau Orange Julep, reportedly based on a Gibeau family recipe. Before founding the first location, Gibeau sold his drinks at Belmont Park, a popular amusement park at the time. Blue Bonnets
The Blue Bonnets Raceway (later named Hippodrome de Montréal) was a horse racing track and casino in Montreal, Quebec, Canada. It closed on October 13, 2009, after 137 years of operation. Demolition of the site began in mid-2018, after sitting abandoned and derelict for nearly a decade. History In 1905, John F. Ryan founded the Jockey Club of Montreal which on June 4, 1907, opened a Blue Bonnets Raceway on Decarie Boulevard. In 1958, Jean-Louis Levesque undertook major renovations that included building a multi-million-dollar clubhouse for the Blue Bonnets Raceway and by 1961, it began to challenge the preeminence of the Ontario racing industry.
