Time Warp (roller Coaster)
Time Warp (formerly Tomb Raider: The Ride) is a flying roller coaster operating at Canada's Wonderland. It opened on May 2, 2004. Ride layout and experience The ride commences by loading passengers into a 4-person car and rotating the cars facing the ground. The vehicles proceed with a horizontal lift and push forward so that they engage with the rotating lift mechanism. The vehicles ascend into a spiral lift that gives riders a 360-degree view of their surroundings. Once vehicles reach the top, they dive down and accelerate before making a quick turn to the left and into the first in-line twist. The ride turns to the right and into the first set of block brakes that slows the vehicles before making a small dip downward and another right turn into the second in-line twist. Fast Lane (Cedar Fair)
Fast Lane is an optional, pay-per-person line queue system offered on select rides at Cedar Fair amusement parks. The system provides shorter lines, and guests who want access must pay a fee in addition to general park admission. They are given a wristband for identification, and an unspecified, limited number are sold each day to control wait times. First piloted in 2011 at Kings Island, the system was rolled out to the rest of the Cedar Fair chain in 2012. An upgrade called Fast Lane Plus featuring additional rides is available at some parks. History On July 18, 2011, Kings Island announced the introduction of Fast Lane, a separate line queue featuring shorter wait times. Terracotta Army
The Terracotta Army is a collection of terracotta sculptures depicting the armies of Qin Shi Huang, the first emperor of China. It is a form of funerary art buried with the emperor in 210–209 BCE with the purpose of protecting the emperor in his afterlife. The figures, dating from approximately the late third century BCE, were discovered in 1974 by local farmers in Lintong County, outside Xi'an, Shaanxi, China. The figures vary in height according to their roles, the tallest being the generals. The figures include warriors, chariots and horses.
