"Time to Make You Mine" is a song recorded by British singer, songwriter and actress Lisa Stansfield for her second album, '' Real Love'' (1991). It was written by her with Ian Devaney and Andy Morris, and produced by Devaney and Morris. The song was released as the third single from the album in Europe on 2 March 1992 and in Japan on 3 June 1992. It also included " All Around the World" recorded as a duet with Barry White. All artist royalties from this single were donated to the charity Trading Places. "Time to Make You Mine" was remixed by Masters at Work (Little Louie Vega and Kenny "Dope" Gonzalez), Martin Glover and The Orb. The John Lindauer-directed music video was also released. The song reached number fourteen in the United Kingdom. Lisa Jane Stansfield (born 11 April 1966) is an English singer, songwriter, and actress. Her career began in 1980 when she won the singing competition ''Search for a Star''. After appearances in various television shows and releasing her first singles, Stansfield, along with Ian Devaney and Andy Morris, formed Blue Zone in 1986. The band released several singles and one album, but after the success of Coldcut's "People Hold On" in 1989, on which Stansfield was featured, the focus was placed on her solo career. Stansfield's first solo album '' Affection'' (1989) and its worldwide chart-topping lead single " All Around the World" were major breakthroughs in her career. She was nominated for two Grammy Awards, and ''Affection'' is her best-selling album to date. ''Record Mirror'' was a British weekly music newspaper between 1954 and 1991 for pop fans and record collectors. Launched two years after the ''NME'', it never attained the circulation of its rival. The first UK album chart was published in ''Record Mirror'' in 1956, and during the 1980s it was the only consumer music paper to carry the official UK singles and UK albums charts used by the BBC for Radio 1 and ''Top of the Pops'', as well as the US ''Billboard'' charts. James Hamilton (25 December 1942 – 17 June 1996) was a British DJ and dance music columnist for ''Record Mirror'', and later for ''Music Week'', where he worked until his death in 1996. He is recognised as a pioneering advocate of disco mixing in the UK and the addition of beats per minute (bpm) calculations to record reviews. Hamilton started as a DJ in his early 20s, playing rhythm & blues in a nightclubs in London. He then headed to New York to work for Seltaeb, the US company who’d acquired the merchandising rights for The Beatles, becoming a talent scout for their newly formed music division. After returning to the UK, he adopted the DJ name Doctor Soul, and also compiled an album with this title for Sue Records. ''The Michigan Daily'' is the weekly student newspaper of the University of Michigan. Its first edition was published on September 29, 1890. The newspaper is financially and editorially independent of the University's administration and other student groups, but shares a university building with other student publications on 420 Maynard Street, north of the Michigan Union and Huetwell Student Activities Center. In 2007, renovations to the historic building at 420 Maynard were completed, funded entirely by private donations from alumni. The ''Gavin Report'' was a San Francisco-based radio industry trade publication. The publication was founded by radio performer Bill Gavin in 1958. Its Top 40 listings were used for many years by programmers to decide content of programs. The publication was also responsible for running the Gavin Seminar, a convention for radio industry members.
