Timbó
Timbó is a municipality in the state of Santa Catarina in the South region of Brazil. It is located at 26º49'24" from latitude South and 49º16'18" from longitude west, at an altitude of 68 meters. Its population in 2020 was 44,977 inhabitants. It has an area of 130.31 km ². History German immigrants, led by Frederico Donner, settled at the confluence of the rivers Benedito and of Cedros, that came from the Colony of Blumenau. Italian immigrants also arrived later, and today each of these two ethnic groups account for almost 50%. Most immigrants who arrived in Timbó came from Germany (Pomerania and Hamburg) and from Italy ( Chiavenna and Trent). Timbo, Arkansas
Timbo is an unincorporated community in Stone County, Arkansas, United States. It is in the Ozark Mountains region of the northern part of the state and is near the town of Mountain View. Timbo is known particularly for its strong tradition of old-time music. Music legend Jimmy Driftwood lived there. In 1959, Alan Lomax recorded music in Timbo (as well as in Heber Springs, Hughes, and Landis Timbo's ZIP code is 72680, although it previously used the ZIP code 72657, which was formerly served by the small post office at nearby Newnata, Arkansas, Newnata (which is no longer in operation). Education Public education is provided by Timbo Elementary School and Timbo High School, which are in the Mountain View School District. Timbo and its schools were previously a part of the Stone County School District. On July 1, 2004, it consolidated with Rural Special School District into the existing Mountain View School District.

Timbo is a town and sub-prefecture in the Mamou Prefecture in the Mamou Region of Guinea. It is located in the Fouta Djallon highlands of Guinea, lying north east of Mamou, in a part of the country mostly occupied by the Fula people. Timberland LLC is an American manufacturer and retailer of outdoor footwear, owned by VF Corporation and founded in Boston, Massachusetts in 1952. The company also sells apparel and accessories including watches, eyewear, and leather goods. Timberland's corporate headquarters are located in Stratham, New Hampshire. History In 1952, Nathan Swartz, a shoemaker from Ukraine, bought half-interest in the Abington Shoe Company in Boston, Massachusetts. Swartz and his sons eventually acquired the remaining shares. Through the 1960s the company specialized in making private-label boots and shoes for other brands. In 1969, Abington moved to Newmarket, New Hampshire and focused on producing waterproof boots made with injection molding, capable of withstanding the winters of the region.
