Timaima Ravisa
Timaima Rosi Lulutai Ravisa (born 1 May 1988) is a Fijian rugby sevens and rugby league player who played for the New Zealand Warriors in the NRL Women's Premiership. Playing career Rugby sevens Ravisa was selected as a member of the Fijiana sevens team for the 2016 Summer Olympics in Brazil. Rugby league In 2019, Ravisa and her Fiji sevens teammate Roela Radiniyavuni relocated to Auckland to play rugby league for the Richmond Rovers. On 22 June 2019, she started at for Fiji in their 28–0 win over Papua New Guinea. On 10 July 2019, she joined the New Zealand Warriors NRL Women's Premiership. On 14 September 2019, she made her debut for the Warriors, starting at in a 16–12 win over the Sydney Roosters. Rugby union Ravisa was named in the Fijiana Drua squad for the 2022 Super W season. Labasa
Labasa (pronounced ) is a town in Fiji with a population of 27,949 at the most recent census held in 2007. Labasa is located in Macuata Province, in the north-eastern part of the island of Vanua Levu, and is the largest town on the island. The town itself is located on a delta formed by three rivers – the Wailevu, the Labasa (after which the town is named), and the Qawa. The latter two are connected by an 8-kilometre canal. The township historically served the sugar cane farms and farm workers with harvesting season resulting in significant seasonal employment although the township is now less dependent on the sugar industry. The farmers market offers seasonal produce and seafood. The main street is lined with small family run businesses, supermarkets and restaurants offering a lively pedestrian thoroughfare. 2022 Super W Season
The 2022 Super W season was the fifth edition of the Super W competition. The Fijiana Drua joined the five Super W teams for the 2022 season, and won the championship. The New South Wales Waratahs#Women's team, New South Wales Waratahs were the four-time, back-to-back defending champions. Competition format With six teams, each team played five regular season matches. The top three teams at the end of the regular season progressed to the finals. The second and third placed teams competed in a semi-final elimination round on April 14. The winner progressed to the Grand Final on April 24 and played the first placed team for the championship. New Zealand Warriors (NRLW) Players
The New Zealand Warriors are a professional rugby league football club based in Auckland, New Zealand that competes in the National Rugby League (NRL) premiership and is the League's only team from outside Australia. They were formed in 1995 as the Auckland Warriors, and are affectionally known as the ''Wahs''. The Warriors are coached by Andrew Webster and captained by Tohu Harris. The Warriors are based at Go Media Stadium Mt Smart in the Auckland suburb of Penrose. For the 1995 season the newly formed Auckland Warriors became the first club from outside Australia to be admitted to the Australian Rugby League's premiership when it expanded from 16 to 20 teams.
