Timahdite Plateau
Timahdite is a town in Ifrane Province, Fès-Meknès, Morocco. According to the 2004 census it has a population of 2507. Located at an altitude of 1800 metres, it lies in the heart of Middle Atlas Mountains, in an area with a harsh climate. The local breed of Timahdite sheep is one of the major Moroccan sheep breeds. Geography Timahdite is located 30 kilometres south of the city of Azrou on the N13 national road commonly used by people crossing the massif of the Middle Atlas and High Atlas to reach Errachidia and the Sahara Desert. Five kilometres north of the city is the ski resort of Ifrane. The Sebou River, the second longest river in Morocco, has its source not far from the town in a river upstream known as the Wadi Guigou and is fed from melting snow and from springs. Regions Of Morocco
Regions are currently the highest administrative divisions in Morocco. Azrou ( Berber: Aẓro, ⴰⵥⵔⵓ, Arabic: أزرو) (meaning “rock” or “stone”) is a Moroccan town 89 kilometres south of Fez in Ifrane Province of the Fès-Meknès region. Geography The market town of Azrou is located at a strategic crossroads of the N13 and N8 roads towards the northern end of the Middle Atlas. The N13 road connects Azrou to Meknes in the north west and Midelt in the south east. The National Route N8 comes from Fes in the north east and continues to Khenifra and then Marrakech in the south west. Aguelmame Sidi Ali is a lake in Khénifra Province, Béni Mellal-Khénifra, Morocco. Located at an altitude of 2,080 metres, Aguelmame Sidi Ali has a surface area of approximately and a depth of . It is near the boundary of the province of Ifrane within the Middle Atlas mountains. It is part of Khenifra National Park, a protected area created in 2008. Sebou River
Sebou (Berber language, Berber: Asif en Sbu, ar, سبو) is a river in northern Morocco. At its source in the Middle Atlas mountains it is known as the Guigou River (Berber: Asif n Gigu). The river is 496 kilometers long and has an average water flow of 137 m3/s, which makes it the largest North African river by volume. Errachidia ( ar, الرشيدية, Berber: ⵉⵎⴻⵜⵖⴰⵔⵏ Imetɣaren) is a city in Morocco, located in the Errachidia Province, and is the capital of the Drâa-Tafilalet region.
