Tim Wittman
Tim Wittman is a retired American soccer player who is currently the assistant coach with the Johns Hopkins University women's soccer team. He spent his entire professional career playing indoor soccer in the first and second Major Indoor Soccer League, National Professional Soccer League and Continental Indoor Soccer League. He also coached in the Major Indoor Soccer League. Player Wittman attended Calvert Hall College High School where he was a 1980 All American high school soccer player. In December 1980 the Tampa Bay Rowdies drafted him in the third round of the NASL draft, but he never played for them. In 1981, the Baltimore Blast of the Major Indoor Soccer League drafted Wittman. He would spend ten seasons with the Blast before moving to the San Diego Sockers in 1991. He returned to Baltimore in 1992 to play for the Baltimore Spirit of the National Professional Soccer League. Baltimore Blast (1980–1992) Players
The Baltimore Blast is an American professional indoor soccer team based in Baltimore, Maryland, United States. The team is a part of the Major Arena Soccer League. The team has won 10 championships since it was founded in 1980. Beginning with the 2017-2018 season, home games have been played at Towson University's SECU Arena. The Blast previously played at Royal Farms Arena in downtown Baltimore. Team colors are red and gold and their current head coach is David Bascome, who took over after 16 year head coach Danny Kelly had moved on. California Cougars
The California Cougars were an indoor soccer team, founded in 2004. The team was a charter member of the Professional Arena Soccer League (PASL-Pro), the first division of arena (indoor) soccer in North America. They played their home matches at the Stockton Arena in Stockton, California. Their team colors were red, gold and black. The team's head coach was Antonio Sutton. History In February 2004, John Thomas, a real estate developer, purchased an expansion team in the Major Indoor Soccer League for Stockton, California. The team was named the California Cougars so that it would represent all of northern California as a regional team.
