Tim Swinson
Tim Swinson (born 17 February 1987 in London, England) is a former Scotland international rugby union player. His preferred position was lock. He recently played for Saracens in Premiership Rugby. He retired from rugby in June 2022. Rugby Union career Amateur career Swinson was drafted to Ayr in the Scottish Premiership for the 2017-18 season. Professional career Swinson has played for Newcastle Falcons in the English Premiership. He made his Newcastle 1st XV debut against Bath during the 2007–08 season. Swinson ended a disappointing season for the Newcastle Falcons by being named the Falcons Player of the Year. Swinson finished runner up behind Brian McGookin for Falcons player of the year in 2009-10. He signed a deal with Glasgow Warriors to join them from Newcastle Falcons in the 2012–13 season. The Scotland A team are the second national rugby union team behind the Scottish national side. The first Scotland 'A' fixture took place in 1990. 2021–22 Premiership Rugby
The 2021–22 Premiership Rugby is the 35th season of the top flight of English domestic rugby union competition and the fourth to be sponsored by Gallagher. It is also the first since 1992–93 to feature thirteen teams. The competition will be broadcast by BT Sport for the ninth successive season. 2020–21 RFU Championship
The 2020–21 RFU Championship, also known as the 2020–21 Greene King IPA Championship for sponsorship reasons, was the twelfth season of the RFU Championship, the professional second tier of rugby union in England. It featured ten English teams and one from Jersey. The competition was sponsored by Greene King for the eighth successive season. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic in the United Kingdom, this season featured a truncated timeframe of just 16 weeks with a later start and fewer rounds. Structure In a change from previous years, the eleven teams played each of the other teams once only, either home or away, to produce a ten-round season. The top two teams played each other in a two-legged play-off, with the winner promoted to the Premiership, if eligible. Due to the cancellation of the National League 1, there was no relegation.
