Richard Timothy Sult is an American musician best known as the guitarist for rock band Clutch. Hard Rock
Hard rock or heavy rock is a loosely defined subgenre of rock music typified by aggressive vocals and distorted electric guitars. Hard rock began in the mid-1960s with the garage, psychedelic and blues rock movements. Stoner rock, also known as stoner metal or stoner doom, is a rock music fusion genre that combines elements of doom metal with psychedelic rock and acid rock. Characteristics Stoner rock is typically slow-to-mid tempo and features a heavily distorted, groove-laden bass-heavy sound, melodic vocals, and "retro" production. Due to the similarities between stoner and sludge metal, there is often a crossover between the two genres. This hybrid has traits of both styles, but generally lacks stoner metal's laid back atmosphere and its usage of psychedelia. Lionize is an American rock band based in Montgomery County, Maryland. The sound of the band is rooted in hard rock and heavy metal, but they frequently experiment with varying sounds, such as reggae, dub music, go-go, and funk. The band line-up consists of Chris Brooks (Hammond organ, Rhodes piano, piano, synthesizer, clav, lead and background vocals), Nathan Bergman (vocals, rhythm and lead guitar), and Henry Upton (bass and backing vocals). The Bakerton Group
The Bakerton Group is an instrumental blues jam band and the side project of the blues rock band Clutch. They incorporate elements of blues rock, psychedelic rock, and jazz. Biography The band is currently composed of all four members of the rock band Clutch (Tim Sult, Dan Maines, Jean-Paul Gaster, Neil Fallon) and has toured extensively throughout Canada and the United States. Taking a sidestep from the traditional Clutch sound, The Bakerton Group focuses on the instrumental talents of its members with songs of a psychedelic, groovy, "jazz-infected" feel.
