Tim Jones (American Football)
Tim Jones (born May 15, 1998) is an American football wide receiver for the Jacksonville Jaguars of the National Football League (NFL). He played college football at Southern Miss. Early years Jones attended Biloxi High School in Biloxi, Mississippi. A 3-star recruit, he committed to Southern Mississippi to play college football in 2016. He chose Southern Mississippi over Louisiana, Memphis, and Texas-San Antonio. College career Jones played at Southern Mississippi from 2017 to 2020. During his career he had 150 receptions, 2,011 receiving yards, and nine touchdowns in 34 games. After his senior season in 2020, he entered the 2021 NFL Draft. Louisiana Ragin' Cajuns Football
The Louisiana Ragin' Cajuns football program is a college football team that represents the University of Louisiana at Lafayette at the NCAA Division I Football Bowl Subdivision (FBS) level as a member of the Sun Belt Conference. Since 1971, the team has played its home games at Cajun Field in Lafayette, Louisiana. Michael Desormeaux has served as Louisiana's head coach since 2021. The RCAF (Ragin Cajun Athletic Foundation) is the supporter association that assists with funding for all Ragin Cajun sports.. The 2021 NFL Draft was the 86th National Football League Draft, the annual meeting of National Football League (NFL) franchises to select newly eligible players for the 2021 NFL season. The draft was held in Cleveland from April 29 to May 1, 2021. Five quarterbacks were selected in the first round — Trevor Lawrence, Zach Wilson, Trey Lance, Justin Fields, and Mac Jones — the second highest number of first-round quarterback selections (along with the 1999 and 2018 drafts) after the six selected in 1983.
