Tim Iredale
Timothy Iredale (born 24 October 1972 in Huddersfield, West Riding of Yorkshire) is an English television journalist, currently the Political Editor for BBC Yorkshire and Lincolnshire. Early life He was born on the same day as Jeremy Wright, the Conservative MP for Kenilworth and Southam. Tim Iredale grew up in Huddersfield and attended Shelley High School on ''Huddersfield Road'' in Shelley, West Yorkshire. Career Tim Iredale is the BBC Political Editor for Yorkshire and Lincolnshire (broadcast from Belmont). He covers the region which was home to some of the most familiar political heavyweights, including John Prescott (Baron Prescott), Alan Johnson and David Davis. Huddersfield
Huddersfield is a market town in the Kirklees district in West Yorkshire, England. It is the administrative centre and largest settlement in the Kirklees district. The town is in the foothills of the Pennines. The River Holme's confluence into the similar-sized Colne to the south of the town centre which then flows into the Calder in the north eastern outskirts of the town. The rivers around the town provided soft water required for textile treatment in large weaving sheds, this made it a prominent mill town with an economic boom in the early part of the Victorian era Industrial Revolution. The town centre has much neoclassical Victorian architecture, one example is which is a Grade I listed building – described by John Betjeman as "the most splendid station façade in England" – and won the Europa Nostra award for architecture. Belmont Transmitting Station
The Belmont transmitting station is a broadcasting and telecommunications facility next to the B1225, one mile west of the village of Donington on Bain in the civil parish of South Willingham, near Market Rasen and Louth in Lincolnshire, England (). It is owned and operated by Arqiva. It has a guyed tubular steel mast, with a lattice upper section. The mast was shortened in April 2010 and is now in height. Before this it was high and was considered to be the tallest structure of its kind in the world (taller masts, such as the KVLY-TV mast in the United States, use steel lattice construction), the tallest structure of any type in the United Kingdom. After the top section was removed, the mast's reduced height relegated it to the second-highest in the UK after Skelton. Clare Frisby
Clare Kathleen Frisby (born 27 December 1966, Orpington) is a newsreader for '' Look North'' based in Leeds, West Yorkshire, England. Early life She first attended Bennett Memorial Diocesan School. Later she was the head girl of Combe Bank School, an independent school in Kent, where took part in drama; the other joint head girl was killed aged 18 on 23 November 1984 in an accident, caused by a freak wave at Sandgate, Kent. The family home was in Mereworth. Frisby studied Politics at Hull University, graduating in 1989. Journalism career Frisby became a BBC News trainee in London in October 1989 and worked in newsrooms throughout the UK for the BBC and was one of the few female reporters in Saudi Arabia during the Gulf War. Batley is a market town in the Metropolitan Borough of Kirklees, in West Yorkshire, England. Barnsley () is a market town in South Yorkshire, England. As the main settlement of the Metropolitan Borough of Barnsley and the fourth largest settlement in South Yorkshire. Bradford
