Tim Freedman
Timothy James Freedman (25 November 1964) is an Australian musician, best known as the mainstay lead singer and keyboardist of the Australian band The Whitlams formed in 1993. Note: n-lineversion was expanded from the 2002 edition. The song "No Aphrodisiac", co-written by Freedman, was their break-through hit in 1997; their top four ARIA albums by sales are ''Love This City'' (1999), ''Torch the Moon'' (2002), '' Little Cloud'' (2006), and their compilation album '' Truth, Beauty and a Picture of You: Best of the Whitlams'' in 2008. A highlight of his career was receiving an ARIA Music Award for 'Song of the Year' in 1998 from the former Australian prime minister Gough Whitlam—after whom his band is named. Ted Mulry
Martin Albert Mulry (2 September 19471 September 2001) professionally known as Ted Mulry, was an English-born Australian singer, songwriter, bass player and guitarist. As a solo artist, his second single, "Falling in Love Again" (February 1971), reached No. 11 on the ''Go-Set'' National Top 60. From September 1972 he led his own band, Ted Mulry Gang, which were also credited as TMG. They had a number-one hit single on the Kent Music Report with "Jump in My Car" (September 1975) and top ten appearances with a cover version of "Darktown Strutters' Ball" (February 1976), and with "Jamaica Rum" (January 1977) and "My Little Girl" (May). The Hummingbirds
The Hummingbirds were an Australian indie pop and jangle pop band from Sydney, who formed in 1986 from Bug Eyed Monsters. They were one of the most highly regarded outfits to emerge from Sydney's inner-city scene during the late 1980s and were an early signing to the rooArt label. The Hummingbirds' single, "Blush", peaked at No.19 on the ARIA singles charts in 1989. They left rooArt in 1992, and disbanded in 1993. Biography The Hummingbirds formed in 1986 from the remnants of the short lived band Bug Eyed Monsters. The Northern Beaches is a region within Northern Sydney, in the state of New South Wales, Australia, near the Pacific Ocean, Pacific coast. Collaroy is a suburb in northern Sydney, in the state of New South Wales, Australia.
