Tim Faust
Tim D. Faust (born October 1, 1959) is a Minnesota politician and former member of the Minnesota House of Representatives. A member of the Minnesota Democratic–Farmer–Labor Party (DFL), he represented District 11B, which included portions of Kanabec and Pine counties. Early life, education, and career Faust attended the North Dakota State University, graduating with a Bachelor of Science in agricultural economics. He is the pastor of the Zion Lutheran Churches in Hinckley (Cloverdale) and Markville and a singer who has taken part in several area community-theater musicals. Roger W. Crawford (born June 8, 1952) is an American businessman and politician. Biography Crawford was a member of the Minnesota House of Representatives who represented District 8B, which includes portions of Isanti, Kanabec and Pine counties in the east-central part of the state. A Republican, he is a real estate appraiser and small business owner. He has served as mayor of the city of Mora, MN and as a Kanabec County Commissioner. He is also a former educator and is a veteran of the United States Navy. Personal life Born June 8, 1952 to an elementary school teacher and a tool and die machinist. Arna Township, Pine County, Minnesota
Arna Township is a township in Pine County, Minnesota, United States. The population was 86 at the 2000 census. History Arna Township was founded on March 11, 1910. Its name was proposed by a county auditor by the name of W.H. Hamlin. Early settlers to the area were attracted by land sales and the lumber industry. In 1912 the Soo Line Railroad passed through Arna Township, and the community of Markville sprang up with the railroad. By 1920 the population of Arna had reached a peak of 350, but this number steadily decreased over the following decades.Jim Cordes "Pine County... and its Memories" p. 292. Hinckley is a city in Pine County, Minnesota, United States, located at the junction of Interstate 35 and Minnesota State Highway 48. The population was 1,800 at the 2010 census. Hinckley's name in the Ojibwe language is ''Gaa-zhiigwanaabikokaag'', meaning "the place abundant with grindstones" due to being located along the Grindstone River. Portions of the Mille Lacs Indian Reservation are located within and adjacent to Hinckley. On September 1, 1894, the Great Hinckley Fire killed more than 400 people.
