Collins is a director of several public companies as well as some of Ripplewood's private portfolio companies. History and education Collins was born in Frankfort, Kentucky. Timothy William George Collins, CBE (born 7 May 1964) is a British politician, once a prominent member of the Conservative Party. Collins was active in the 1990s and was later the Member of Parliament (MP) for Westmorland and Lonsdale in north-west England from 1997 until his defeat at the 2005 general election by Tim Farron, later leader of the Liberal Democrats. Education Collins was educated at Chigwell School, the London School of Economics (BSc) and King's College London (MA). Political career Collins had significant political experience before his election to Parliament. He acted as Press Secretary to the then Prime Minister John Major, serving in that role during the successful 1992 general election campaign. Colonel Timothy Thomas Cyril Collins (born 30 April 1960) is a retired Northern Irish military officer in the British Army. He is best known for his role in the Iraq War in 2003, and his eve-of-battle speech, a copy of which apparently hung in the White House's Oval Office. He is currently Chairman (and co-founder) of intelligence-based security services company Horus Global. Early life Collins was born and raised in Belfast, Northern Ireland, where he grew up during The Troubles. Tim Collins is a businessman and band manager, most noted for being the American hard rock band Aerosmith’s manager from 1984-1996. Personal history While students at St. Mary’s High School in Waltham, Massachusetts, Collins, on guitar, formed the band ''Valley Decision'' with John Voymus on keyboard, Kevin Wormsley on drums, and Bill Walsh on bass guitar. The band was named after the Walt Whitman poem and competed in the Waltham Battle of the Bands. At 14, Collins joined the band ''Tax Free''.Band later renamed itself to ''Connection'' He played guitar but also had responsibility for managing booking and finances. Timothy Michael Collins (born August 21, 1989) is an American former professional baseball pitcher. He played in Major League Baseball (MLB) for the Kansas City Royals, Washington Nationals, and Chicago Cubs. Timothy James Collins (24 December 1889 – 19 September 1971) was an Australian rules footballer who played with Melbourne in the Victorian Football League (VFL). Football Hawthorn's captain in the MJFA before joining Melbourne, Collins never played again after seriously injuring his knee in the second quarter of the round 13, 1915 loss to Collingwood. The following is a list of characters that first appeared in the soap in 2001, by order of first appearance. All characters were introduced by the show's executive producer Stanley Walsh. Clyde Ellett "Tim" Collins, Jr. (July 19, 1945 – April 17, 2012) was an American professional golfer. He earned All-America honors two years at Virginia Tech in the mid-1960s and went on to play professionally on the PGA Tour. He was a native of Christiansburg, Virginia. College career Collins was the first full scholarship player for Virginia Tech in 1964. At Tech, he played in the NCAA golf championship for three consecutive years (1965–1967). He earned third team All-America honors in 1965, and finished seventh at the NCAA tournament, leading the Hokie team to an 11th-place finish. He capped his career by finishing tied for fifth in the 1967 event, three strokes back of Hale Irwin (known then as a Colorado football star). He also earned All-America honors, this time as a second team selection. No Tech golfer had finished higher in the NCAA tournament through 2018. He finished 20th at the 1966 NCAA tournament.
