Tim Campbell (actor)
Tim Campbell (born 27 September 1975) is an Australian television and stage actor and singer, best known for playing the character of Dan Baker (Home and Away), Dan Baker in the soap opera ''Home and Away'' between 2004 and 2008. In 2007, he came third Dancing with the Stars (Australian season 6), series 6 of ''Dancing with the Stars (Australian TV series), Dancing with the Stars''. Career Television In 1993, Campbell appeared in two episodes of ''Home and Away'' as Brad. Throughout the 1990s, Campbell appeared in episodes of ''Heartbreak High'', ''Police Rescue'', ''The Day of the Roses'' and ''Wildside (Australian TV series), Wildside''. In 1999, he appeared in 13 episodes of ''Big Sky (Australian TV series), Big Sky'' as Blake Wallace. ''Wheel of Fortune'' is an Australian television game show produced by Grundy Television until 2006, and CBS Studios International in 2008. The program aired on the Seven Network from 1981 to 2004 and January to July 2006, aired at 5:00pm from 1981 to 1989 and from 2004 to 2006 and at 5:30pm from 1989 to 2003, and is mostly based on the same general format as the original American version of the program. ''Always Greener'' was an Australian television drama/comedy series that aired on the Seven Network which followed the fortunes of two families, one from the city and the other from the country, when they decide to switch homes and start a new direction in life for themselves. It ran from 2001 until 2003, when it was cancelled after declining ratings and concerns over the cost of production. History The name of the show stems from the phrase "The grass is always greener on the other side". ''Life Support'' was a comedy programme on Australia's SBS network which satirised lifestyle television programs. It ran for three seasons. On Australia Day 2006, a ''Life Support'' Marathon was shown on the Comedy Channel showing the first series and half of the second. Concept A satirical, sometimes dark look at Australian life as seen through the omnipresent lens of the Television Lifestyle Show. The series' lifestyle experts included Sigourney, a home economics guru who always wore a fresh frock and was a firm believer in the doctrine of "pleasing your man"; Todd, a DIY expert; Rudi, a South African general practitioner; and young person Penne. ''Water Rats'' is an Australian TV police procedural broadcast on the Nine Network from 1996 to 2001. The series was based on the work of the men and women of the Sydney Water Police who fight crime around Sydney Harbour and surrounding locales. The show was set on and around Goat Island in Sydney Harbour. ''Water Rats'' premiered on 12 February 1996, and ran for six seasons and 177 episodes. Colin Friels and Catherine McClements were the original stars of the series and were instrumental in the show's early success. They both departed the show in 1999. ''The Great Raid'' is a 2005 war film about the Raid at Cabanatuan on the island of Luzon, Philippines during World War II. It is directed by John Dahl and stars Benjamin Bratt, James Franco, Connie Nielsen, Marton Csokas, Joseph Fiennes with Motoki Kobayashi and Cesar Montano.
