Tim Adams Memorial Trophy
The Tim Adams Memorial Trophy is presented annually by the Ontario Hockey League to the minor ice hockey player selected as the most valuable player of the OHL Cup. Tim Adams was a graduate of the Greater Toronto Hockey League and a long time coach of both the Toronto Marlboros and Toronto Young Nationals. Tim Adams died at an early age from cancer. List Of Canadian Hockey League Awards
The Canadian Hockey League awards sixteen annual trophies for accomplishments during the regular and at the Memorial Cup to top individuals and teams among its three member leagues. The Memorial Cup is the top award for the championship team at the end-of-season Memorial Cup tournament. A set of five individual awards are given for performance at the tournament. In the regular season, Canadian Hockey League also presents ten annual awards. The nominees for each individual award are determined by the winner of the corresponding award handed out by each of the Canadian Hockey League's three member leagues, the Ontario Hockey League, the Quebec Major Junior Hockey League, and the Western Hockey League. Michael Misa (born February 16, 2007) is a Canadian junior ice hockey forward for the Saginaw Spirit of the Ontario Hockey League (OHL). He will be eligible for the 2025 NHL entry draft, where he is projected as most likely to be taken first overall. Playing career At the 2022 OHL Cup, Misa scored 20 points in seven games to beat Connor McDavid's record for tournament scoring. Shane Wright (born January 5, 2004) is a Canadian professional ice hockey centre for the Seattle Kraken of the National Hockey League (NHL). Projected as a potential first overall pick throughout the 2021–22 NHL season, Wright was drafted fourth overall in the 2022 NHL Entry Draft by the Kraken. Dylan Robinson (ice Hockey)
Dylan Robinson is a xwélmexw ( Stó:lō/Skwah) artist, curator and writer whose "research focuses on the sensory politics of Indigenous activism and the arts, and questions how Indigenous rights and settler colonialism are embodied and spatialized in public space." Robinson holds the Canada Research Chair in Indigenous Arts and is the co-chair of the recently formed Indigenous Advisory Council for the Canadian Music Centre. Ryan McLeod (born September 21, 1999) is a Canadian professional ice hockey forward for the Edmonton Oilers in the National Hockey League (NHL). Connor Andrew McDavid (born January 13, 1997) is a Canadian professional ice hockey centre and captain of the Edmonton Oilers of the National Hockey League (NHL). The Oilers selected him first overall in the 2015 NHL Entry Draft. McDavid spent his childhood playing ice hockey against older children.
