Tikka Shankaraiah
''Tikka Sankarayya'' () is a 1968 Indian Telugu-language comedy film directed by D. Yoganand and produced by D. V. S. Raju. It stars N. T. Rama Rao, Krishna Kumari and Jayalalithaa, with music composed by T. V. Raju. Plot Raghavayya, a middle-class villager, lives with his overbearing wife Kantamma, and his two daughters Suseela and Rani. Suseela is mistreated by Kantamma for being her stepdaughter. Meanwhile, a young and charismatic man named Mohan visits to set up a marriage with Rani but instead falls in love with Suseela. However, Lingaraju, a loan shark, also wants to marry Suseela. He asks Raghavayya to get him and Suseela married to absolve him of his debt. Krishna Kumari (actress)
T. Krishna Kumari (6 March 1933 – 24 January 2018) was an Indian actress. She worked predominantly in Telugu films, in addition to Tamil and Kannada films in the 1950s and 1960s. She was the sister of noted actress Sowkar Janaki. Suryakantham (actress)
Suryakantham (28 October 1924 – 18 December 1994) was an Indian actress in Tollywood. She was popular for playing the role of a cruel mother-in-law in most of her movies. Early life Suryakantham was born and brought up in a Telugu Brahmin family residing at Venkata Krishnaraya Puram near Kakinada of East Godavari district in Andhra Pradesh. She was the 14th child to her parents, ten of whose children had died. She learnt dance and singing at the age of six. She married Peddibhotla Chalapati Rao, a High Court Judge, in 1950. Ghantasala Venkateswararao (4 December 1922 – 11 February 1974), known mononymously by his surname as Ghantasala, was an Indian playback singer and film composer known for his works predominantly in Telugu and Kannada cinema and also in Tamil, Malayalam, Tulu and Hindi language films. He is considered as one of the greatest singers of Telugu cinema. In 1970, he received the Padma Shri award, India's fourth highest civilian award for his contribution to Indian cinema. Punyamurthula Appalaraju (20 October 1937 – 07 February 1983), better known by his stage name Raja Babu, was an Indian actor and comedian known for his works predominantly in Telugu cinema. He is noted as one of the finest Telugu comedians. A 9 ft bronze statue of Rajababu was unveiled in his birthplace of Rajahmundry, Andhra Pradesh in 2012.
