Tikipunga (soccer)
Northland FC is a football club based in Whangarei, New Zealand. They currently compete in the NRFL Northern Conference. North Force was set up late in 2003 by Kamo & Tikipunga Football clubs so that a combined team could be entered in either the US1 Federation League or the Northern Federations Football League, and to create a pathway for players to compete at the highest possible levels. Club history In 2004 North Force entered a Men’s team in the NFSL 2nd Division, coach Paul Cross (National Academy licence), Won the league and gained promotion into the 1st Division. 2005 – North Force fielded a Reserve Team. This was coached by Jerome Lutien (UEFA licence) with Paul Cross (National Academy licence) again coaching the 1st Team. Kensington, Whangārei
Kensington (Māori: ''Tawatawhiti'') is a suburb of Whangārei, in Northland Region, New Zealand. It is about 2 kilometres north of the city centre. State Highway 1 runs through Kensington, The Western Hills form a boundary on the west, and Hātea River on the east. The area includes Whangarei Quarry Gardens, a 24 hectare public garden set around an artificial lake. History In 2018, Whangarei District Council completed improvements to the Kensington Avenue and Kamo Road intersection, following delays since 2014 in acquiring properties. Whangārei () is the northernmost city in New Zealand and the regional capital of Northland Region. It is part of the Whangarei District, Whangārei District, a local body created in 1989 from the former Whangārei City, Whangārei County and Hikurangi Town councils, to administer both the city proper and its hinterland. NRFL Conference
The Northern Regional Football League Conference, currently known as Lotto Sport Italia NRFL Conference for sponsorship reasons, is a New Zealand amateur football league. The league is run by the Auckland Football Federation and includes football clubs located in the northern part of the North Island, New Zealand. It is open to clubs from the Northland, Auckland, Waikato and Bay of Plenty provinces. Up until 2022, the competition was known as NRFL Division 2, and was not split into Northern and Southern competitions. The fixtures are played generally from April to September. Clubs are able to win promotion to NRFL Championship. The current champions as of the 2022 season are Hibiscus Coast. A floodlight is a broad-beamed, high-intensity artificial light. They are often used to illuminate outdoor playing fields while an outdoor sports event is being held during low-light conditions. More focused kinds are often used as a stage lighting instrument in live performances such as concerts and plays. In the top tiers of many professional sports, it is a requirement for stadiums to have floodlights to allow games to be scheduled outside daylight hours. The Northland Region ( mi, Te Tai Tokerau) is the northernmost of New Zealand's 16 local government regions.
