Tihomir Pop Asanović
Tihomir "Pop" Asanović (born 16 November 1948) is a Croatian jazz-rock and Jazz fusion, fusion keyboardist, Hammond organ player and composer. Asanović is a keyboardist who has played in 1970s and in early 1980s in various SFR Yugoslavia, Yugoslavian musical line-ups and toured with them around the world. On the 1973 tour with Boško Petrović (musician), Boško Petrović in East Berlin, he was proclaimed as being the fourth best jazz organist in Europe. Career Asanović has finished musical high school in Skopje. With 16 years he started to perform with big dancing orchestra of RTV Skopje. When he was 18 years old, he relocated to Germany, where he performed one year with the band Montenegro Five, then he joined the band The Generals (Yugoslavian band), The Generals and toured with them through Switzerland, where Janez Bončina also joined the band. Skopje
Skopje ( , , ; mk, Скопје ; sq, Shkup) is the capital and largest city of North Macedonia. It is the country's political, cultural, economic, and academic centre. Time (Yugoslav Band)
Time was a rock band from SFR Yugoslavia, Yugoslavia that was formed in 1971 by Dado Topić (singing, vocals) after leaving his previous band Korni Grupa. The original lineup consisted of, in addition to Topić, Tihomir Pop Asanović, Tihomir "Pop" Asanović (organ (music), organ), Vedran Božić (guitar), Mario Mavrin (bass guitar, bass), Ratko Divjak (Drum kit, drums) and Brane Lambert Živković (piano and flute). Time frequently changed lineup and after three albums and many tours disbanded in late 1977 and Dado Topić started his solo career. In 1998 and 2001, Time reunited to play a limited number of live concerts. Now they still play together as a rock trio. Dado Topić
Adolf "Dado" Topić (born 4 September 1950, Siverić at Drniš) is a rock musician from Croatia and the former Yugoslavia. He was the lead singer and founder of Time, a 1970s progressive rock band. From 1970 to late 1971, he was also the lead singer of the popular prog-rock band Korni Grupa (also known as The Kornelyans). Janez Bončina
Janez Bončina, nicknamed Benč (born 3 December 1947) is a Slovenian composer, guitarist and singer. He is one of the leading authors and performers of Slovenian and Yugoslavian rock music. In the middle of the 1960s, Bončina with his friend Tomaž Domicelj from the group Helioni, showed his talent for music. Later with the group Mladi levi he founded the projects, which started the Slovenian pop rock scene. Biography In 1970–1972, he collaborated with the international group The Generals, and in 1972 he founded the rock group Srce. The Socialist Federal Republic of Yugoslavia, commonly referred to as SFR Yugoslavia or simply as Yugoslavia, was a country in Central and Southeast Europe. A keyboardist or keyboard player is a musician who plays keyboard instruments. Until the early 1960s musicians who played keyboards were generally classified as either pianists or organists. Since the mid-1960s, a plethora of new musical instruments with keyboards have come into common usage, such as synthesizers and digital piano, requiring a more general term for a person who plays them.
