Juana Judith Bustos Ahuite (born 22 November 1945) is best known as La Tigresa del Oriente (lit. Spanish for The Eastern Tigress, the "east" being the Peruvian Amazon) is a Peruvian singer, hairdresser, actress, makeup artist and model. Due to the popularity of her videos on YouTube (the video for her single "''Nuevo Amanecer''" surpassed the 10-million-hit mark in 2009), she has become an internet meme and reached some international fame. La Tigresa is known for her leopard garb, makeup and appearance, and for the choreographies staged by her dancing troupe, which includes three women and one man. Her first single "''Nuevo amanecer'' (New Dawn)" became an Internet meme in Latin America. Reggaeton (, ), also known as reggaetón and reguetón (), is a music style that originated in Panama during the late 1980s. It was later popularized in Puerto Rico. Kitsch ( ; loanword from German) is a term applied to art and design that is perceived as naïve imitation, overly-eccentric, gratuitous, or of banal taste. The avant-garde opposed kitsch as melodramatic and superficial affiliation with the human condition and its natural standards of beauty. Camp (style)
Camp is an aesthetic style and sensibility that regards something as appealing because of its bad taste and ironic value. Camp aesthetics disrupt many of modernism's notions of what art is and what can be classified as high art by inverting aesthetic attributes such as beauty, value, and taste through an invitation of a different kind of apprehension and consumption. Calle 13 is a Puerto Rican alternative hip-hop band formed by stepbrothers Residente (lead vocalist, songwriter) and Visitante (multi-instrumentalist, vocalist, beat producer), along with their half-sister iLe, also known as PG-13 (backing vocals). Pérez and Cabra first were discovered by Elias De Leon. They were subsequently given a record deal with White Lion Records after leaving a demo with A&R Director Carlos "Karly" Rosario.
