Tighina County (Moldova)
Tighina County was a county (Romanian: '' județ'') in Moldova from 1998 to 2003. It bordered Ukraine, Lăpușna County, Chișinău County, and Transnistria. Transnistria, officially the Pridnestrovian Moldavian Republic (PMR), is an unrecognised breakaway state that is internationally recognised as a part of Moldova.
