Tigers Tübingen
Tigers Tübingen is a basketball team from Tübingen, a college town in central Baden-Württemberg, Germany, playing in the ProA, the country's second tier league. Founded as SV 03 Tübingen, is affiliated with the multi-sports club SV 03 Tübingen, which was founded in 1903. In 1952, its basketball section was founded. In 2003, the name Walter Tigers Tübingen was chosen for the basketball team after the local Tübingen company Walter AG, a tool manufacturer, became the team's sponsor. The company ended their sponsorship in 2018. Tigers Tübingen play their home games at the Paul Horn-Arena, which has a capacity of 3,132 people. ProA
Proas are various types of multi-hull outrigger sailboats of the Austronesian peoples. The terms were used for native Austronesian ships in European records during the Colonial era indiscriminately, and thus can confusingly refer to the double-ended single-outrigger boats of Oceania, the double-outrigger boats of Island Southeast Asia, and sometimes ships with no outriggers or sails at all. In its most common usage, the term ''proa'' refers to the Pacific proas which consist of two (usually) unequal-length parallel hulls. It is sailed so that one hull is kept to windward, and the other to leeward. It is double-ended, since it needs to " shunt" to reverse direction when tacking. Tyron McCoy
Clement Tyron McCoy (born November 20, 1972) is an American professional basketball coach, and former professional basketball player. At a height of 6'5" (1.96 m) tall, he played at the shooting guard position. Playing career High school McCoy attended and played high school basketball at Bethune High School, in Bethune, South Carolina. College career McCoy played college basketball at Virginia Commonwealth University. He scored 1,456 points over the span of his four-year career at VCU, leading the Rams in points per game (15.2), as a senior. Professional career Upon graduating from college in 1995, McCoy spent 13 years playing professionally in Austria, Malta, and Germany. The Basketball Bundesliga 2014–15 was the 49th season of the Basketball Bundesliga. The regular season started on 2 October 2014 and ended on 3 May 2015. The Playoffs started on 9 May and ended on 21 June 2015. Brose Baskets was the top seed in the regular season. The team also won the title, after it beat Bayern Munich 3–2 in the Finals. TBB Trier and Crailsheim Merlins finished in the relegation places, but due to Artland Dragons withdrawing from the Bundesliga, Crailsheim accepted an offer to remain in the Bundesliga for 2015–16. Daniel Jansson
Daniel Jansson (born 11 June 1979) is a Finnish basketball coach and a former player. He is currently working as the head coach of German Bundesliga team Tigers Tübingen. Early life Jansson was born in Sollentuna, Sweden to Finnish mother and Swedish father. He is of Lebanese descent on his father's side. Jansson moved to Finland at the age of three, when his parents divorced. Playing career Jansson played in the youth teams of Kouvot. He played briefly in the men's premier division in 1998–99 season, and played in under-16 and under-18 youth national teams. After that, he spent four years in the United States studying and playing basketball. He also played in the Netherlands and Belgium, and graduated as MBA in the Maastricht University. He returned to Finland and played in the highest tier Korisliiga first with Porvoon Tarmo and last with Pussihukat, and ended his playing career at the age of 27, focusing more on coaching. Doug Spradley
Douglas "Doug" Spradley (born September 14, 1966) is an American-German professional basketball coach and former professional basketball player. He is the current head coach of ZZ Leiden. Playing career Spradley played college basketball at Gonzaga University (1986–89), where he earned West Coast Conference First team honors in 1987-88 and 1988-89 as well as Honorable Mention status in 1986-87. He amassed 1,427 points during his GU career and became a member of Gonzaga's 40 Point Club after scoring 40 points against Loyola Marymount on February 18, 1989. Coming out of college in 1989, Spradley signed with the Amsterdam Canadians, a professional basketball team from the Netherlands.
