''Tiger'' is an Indian film series part of the YRF Spy Universe consisting of action spy films. The original work is 2012 film, named ''Ek Tha Tiger'', directed by Kabir Khan and produced by Yash Raj Films. It centers on a fictional RAW spy named "Avinash Singh Rathore" aka "Tiger" played by Salman Khan who falls in love with a Pakistani spy of ISI named "Zoya Humaini" played by Katrina Kaif. It has a sequel named ''Tiger Zinda Hai'', directed by Ali Abbas Zafar, that released on 22 December 2017. The sequel is based on the 2014 abduction of Indian nurses by ISIL. The first film also spawned a series of graphic novels, published by Yomics World.
