Tift County High School
Tift County High School is a public high school located in Tifton, Georgia, United States. It serves grades 9-12 in the Tift County School District. The school mascot is the Blue Devil. In 2018, the Tift County School District was ranked the 15th safest in Georgia. TCHS football TCHS plays in the GHSA class 1-AAAAAAA at Brodie Field. They have won one state championship and have gone to the semi-finals six times. The current head coach is Noel Dean. Tift County High School shares a region with Colquitt County HS, Lowndes HS and Camden County HS. Tifton, Georgia
Tifton is a city in Tift County, Georgia, United States. The population was 17,045 at the 2020 census. The city is the county seat of Tift County. The area's public schools are administered by the Tift County School District. Abraham Baldwin Agricultural College has its main campus in Tifton. Southern Regional Technical College and the University of Georgia also have Tifton campuses. Swimming (sport)
Swimming is an individual or team racing sport that requires the use of one's entire body to move through water. The sport takes place in pools or open water (e.g., in a sea or lake). Competitive swimming is one of the most popular Olympic sports, with varied distance events in butterfly, backstroke, breaststroke, freestyle, and individual medley. In addition to these individual events, four swimmers can take part in either a freestyle or medley relay. A medley relay consists of four swimmers who will each swim a different stroke, ordered as backstroke, breaststroke, butterfly and freestyle. Swimming each stroke requires a set of specific techniques; in competition, there are distinct regulations concerning the acceptable form for each individual stroke. Jacksonville Jaguars
The Jacksonville Jaguars are a professional American football team based in Jacksonville, Florida. The Jaguars compete in the National Football League (NFL) as a member club of the American Football Conference (AFC) South division. The team plays its home games at TIAA Bank Field. Lindsey Todd Fordham (born October 9, 1973) is a former American football player who is currently retired. Fordham played as an offensive tackle/offensive guard for the Jacksonville Jaguars, Pittsburgh Steelers and Carolina Panthers of the NFL for ten seasons. Larry Dean (born August 7, 1988) is a former American professional football linebacker for the Saskatchewan Roughriders of the Canadian Football League (CFL). He was signed by the Minnesota Vikings as an undrafted free agent in 2011. He played college football at Valdosta State. Rashod Bateman (born November 29, 1999) is an American football wide receiver for the Baltimore Ravens of the National Football League (NFL). He played college football at Minnesota and was drafted by the Ravens in the first round of the 2021 NFL Draft. Early years Bateman grew up in Tifton, Georgia and attended Tift County High School.
