Tidimalo Legwase
Tidimalo Innocentia Legwase is a South African politician for the African National Congress. She has been a member of the National Assembly since 2019. Parliamentary career Legwase stood as an ANC parliamentary candidate from the North West in the 2019 parliamentary election, and was elected to the National Assembly and sworn in on 22 May 2019. In June 2019, Legwase was named to the Portfolio Committee on Defence and Military Veterans, the Portfolio Committee on Home Affairs and the Joint Standing Committee on Defence. In June 2021, she became a member of the Committee for Section 194 Enquiry. The committee will determine Public Protector Busisiwe Mkhwebane's fitness to hold office. Busisiwe Mkhwebane
Busisiwe Mkhwebane is a South African advocate, prosecutor and ombudsman, who has served as the 4th Public Protector of South Africa from 2016 to 2022. Early life and education Mkhwebane was born in Bethal in the then Transvaal province (now Mpumalanga) on 2 February 1970, matriculating from Mkhephula Secondary School in 1988. She graduated with a BProc followed by an LLB from the University of the North (now the University of Limpopo). Subsequently, she obtained a diploma in corporate law and a higher diploma in tax from the Rand Afrikaans University (now the University of Johannesburg). In 2010 she completed a Masters in Business Leadership at the University of South Africa. The Committee for Section 194 Enquiry is an ad hoc committee of the National Assembly of South Africa that was established on 7 April 2021 to determine if there are grounds for the removal of Advocate Busisiwe Mkhwebane as Public Protector.
