''Tides'' is the first studio album by California-based worship collective Bethel Music, it is also the sixth album overall to be released. The album was released on September 3, 2013 by the group's imprint label, Bethel Music. Daniel Mackenzie and Gabriel Wilson produced the album together. Background Brian Johnson had an interview with Marcus Hathcock, the editor-in-chief of NewReleaseToday. When Hathcock questioned him about how the album's title and the imagery of the album cover came about, he responded saying: I didn't arrive at it, actually. Some of our team members did. Bethel Music is an American music label and worship movement from Redding, California, originating out of Bethel Church (Redding, California), Bethel Church where they started making music in 2001. Bethel Music has grown from being a local church music ministry to a global outreach made up of a collective of songwriters, artists and musicians. They focus on producing worship songs and albums that are largely written and recorded by members of their Artist Collective. Kristian Paul Stanfill (born April 9, 1983) is an American Christian music singer, songwriter and worship leader from Atlanta, Georgia. His 2011 album '' Mountains Move'' reached No. 64 on the ''Billboard'' 200. He is currently the worship pastor at Passion City Church and a worship leader at Passion Conferences.
