Tic Price
George "Tic" Price (born November 29, 1955) is an American college basketball coach. He last coached the Lamar Cardinals men's basketball team. From 2002 to 2007, he served as head coach at McNeese State. Prior to that, he served as head coach of Memphis and New Orleans. Price’s daughter is Sports Illustrated model Chanel Iman, who married NFL wide receiver Sterling Shepard in 2017. He is married to the former Jamie Lynn Simms, and the couple has two children - son, Ryan, a college basketball coach who played for his father at McNeese, and daughter, Chanel. He has three grandaughters - Bella Grace Price, Cali Clay Shepard and Cassie Snow Shepard. Currently, Price works as an analyst on ESPN+ college basketball broadcasts for the Southland Conference and the University of New Orleans. Danville, Virginia
Danville is an independent city in the Commonwealth of Virginia in the United States, located in the Southside Virginia region and on the fall line of the Dan River. Southland Conference Men's Basketball Tournament
The Southland Conference's men's basketball tournament began in 1981, with the winner of the tournament receiving the conference's automatic bid into the NCAA Division I Men's Basketball Championship. From 1981 to 2001, the first round of the tournament took place at the higher seed, with the remaining rounds at a set location. In 2002, the Southland changed the format to play games at the campus of sites of each higher seed, during every round of the tournament. This was changed again in 2007, the first year that the conference selected a neutral site for all rounds of the tournament. 2013–14 Lamar Cardinals Basketball Team
The 2013–14 Lamar Cardinals basketball team represented Lamar University during the 2013–14 NCAA Division I men's basketball season. The Cardinals, led by third year head coach Pat Knight, played their home games at the Montagne Center and were members of the Southland Conference. They finished the season 4–26, 3–15 in Southland play to finish in 13th place. They failed to qualify for the 2014 Southland Conference men's basketball tournament, Southland Conference tournament. After starting the season 3–22, head coach Pat Knight was fired on February 16. He compiled a record of 29–62 in three years. The Cardinals finished the season with Tic Price as interim head coach. 2002 NCAA Men's Division I Basketball Tournament
The 2002 NCAA Division I men's basketball tournament involved 65 schools playing in single-elimination play to determine the national champion of men's NCAA Division I college basketball. It began on March 12, 2002, and ended with the championship game on April 1 in Atlanta at the Georgia Dome. A total of 64 games were played. The Northeastern Huskies men's basketball team represents Northeastern University, located in Boston, Massachusetts, in NCAA Division I basketball competition. Ron Everhart
Ronald Cochran Everhart (born January 11, 1962) is an American college basketball coach who is currently an assistant coach at West Virginia University. Born in Fairmont, West Virginia, he was previously head coach at Duquesne University, Northeastern University and McNeese State University. Career Everhart took over as head coach of the Duquesne Dukes basketball team on March 29, 2006. Growing up less than 100 miles from the campus, Everhart watched Duquesne basketball frequently. In his first two seasons at Duquesne, he took a team that had won only three games the season prior to his arrival to 10 wins in 2006–07 and 17 in 2007–08. Tommy Joe Eagles
Tommy Joe Eagles (April 3, 1949 – July 30, 1994) was the head basketball coach of the Louisiana Tech Bulldogs from 1985 to 1989 and the Auburn Tigers from 1989 to 1994. He was head coach of the University of New Orleans men's basketball team, but died before he ever coached a game there due to a heart attack he suffered during a recruiting trip on July 30, 1994. Before his coaching stint at Louisiana Tech, Eagles served as head coach at Cedar Creek High School in Ruston and Simsboro High School in Simsboro, both in Lincoln Parish.
