Tibor Bana
Tibor Bana (born 1 December 1985) is a Hungarian economist, political scientist and politician, who was the member of the National Assembly (MP) between 2010 and 2022, sitting as a Jobbik politician until 2020, then as a non-partisan. Profession Tibor Bana was born in Körmend on 1 December 1985. He is Calvinist. He was elected presbyter of the local Calvinist parish in Szentgotthárd in 2012 and was re-elected in 2017. He finished his secondary studies at the Nagy Lajos Secondary Grammar School in Szombathely in 2004. He earned a degree in political science and economics at the Corvinus University of Budapest in 2009. Currently, he attends Doctoral School of Demography and Sociology, University of Pécs. The National Assembly ( hu, Országgyűlés, lit=Country Assembly) is the parliament of Hungary. The unicameral body consists of 199 (386 between 1990 and 2014) members elected to 4-year terms. Election of members is done using a semi-proportional representation: a mixed-member majoritarian representation with partial scorporo, compensation via transfer votes and mixed single vote; involving single-member districts and one list vote; parties must win at least 5% of the popular vote in order to gain list seats assembly. Parliamentary elections were held in Hungary on 3 April 2022 to elect the National Assembly, coinciding with a referendum. Hungary's incumbent prime minister Viktor Orbán declared victory on Sunday night, with partial results showing his Fidesz party leading the vote by a wide margin. Addressing his supporters after the partial results, Orbán said: "We won a victory so big that you can see it from the moon, and you can certainly see it from Brussels". An opposition primary was held in Hungary, between 18–28 September 2021 (first round) and 10–16 October 2021 (second round), to select the candidate for Prime Minister of Hungary supported by the opposition parties to form a coalition to compete in the 2022 parliamentary election. Márton Gyöngyösi is a Hungarian politician, who has been the leader of the political party Jobbik since 2022. He was a Member of Parliament from 2010 to 2019. He was the leader of the Jobbik's parliamentary group from 2018 to 2019.
