Pethia Tiantian
''Pethia tiantian'' is a species of cyprinid fish that has only been recorded from streams in the vicinity of Putao in the far north of Myanmar. It grows to a length of SL. It is generally brownish with a dark vertical bar just behind the operculum and a round dark blotch on the caudal peduncle. Other ''Pethia'' species are similarly marked but ''P. tiantian'' can be distinguished by its longer lateral line, reaching all the way back to the base of the caudal fin. Tian Tian (male Giant Panda)
Tian Tian () is a 275-pound male giant panda at the National Zoo in Washington D.C. The panda was born on August 27, 1997, at the China Conservation and Research Center for the Giant Panda at the Wolong National Nature Reserve in Sichuan Province, to Yong Ba (mother) and Pan Pan (father). Tian Tian is the half-brother of Bai Yun, formerly at the San Diego Zoo. Giant pandas are thought to be solitary creatures, except for mating season and mothers with young cubs. Tian generally spends his time alone, except for brief periods during breeding season. Tian is able to see Mei Xiang, and any cub with her, through some mesh windows in the exhibit. Male giant pandas play no part in raising their young in the wild. Tian and Mei are trained to participate in a full medical examination, including a blood draw, without anesthesia. Tian Tian (, meaning "Sweetie") is a female panda born on 24 August 2003 at the Beijing Zoo from mother Niu Niu and father Ying Ying, and currently resident at Edinburgh Zoo, Scotland. She arrived in Edinburgh in December 2011 together with a male panda named Yáng Guāng (, meaning "sunshine"). Currently they are the only two pandas in the United Kingdom. They are on a 10-year loan from the Bifengxia Breeding Centre in China at a cost of £640,000 per year. Pregnancies When in China Tian Tian, successfully gave birth to twins on 7 August 2009. Tian Tian (; born March 25, 1983) is a Chinese chess Woman Grandmaster. From 1999 to 2002 she went to Hungary to take part in tournaments and youth team championships in order to gain the Woman Grandmaster (WGM) title, which she did by gaining norms at the First Saturday IM tournament November 2001 and the First Saturday IM Group B tournament in December 2001, both held in Budapest. Her current Elo rating is 2106 (February 2021). Her highest Elo rating was 2355 from July to December 2001.
