Théah
Théah is the fictional world created for the 7th Sea tabletop roleplaying game and collectible card game, created by John Wick and Jennifer Wick. It is based on an alternate version of early modern Europe with nations matching different periods and legends. There is also an undercurrent of secret societies based on real world and fictional sources. The 7th Sea role-playing game is centered on the swashbuckling genre. ''7th Sea'' is an out-of-print collectible card game (CCG) produced by Alderac Entertainment Group (AEG). It was released in August 1999. It is based on the ''7th Sea (role-playing game), 7th Sea'' tabletop role-playing game setting of Théah. Setting In the ''7th Sea CCG'', players take the role of naval captains in the fantasy-English Restoration, Restoration world of Théah. The game attempted to capture the feeling of a Hollywood pirate battle, complete with huge galleys, cannon-shot exchanges, and daring sea boarding (attack), boardings. The game also has aspects of adventuring, treasure seeking, and the occult. As with most of the games of AEG, ''7th Sea'' had a complex storyline that affected and was influenced by the RPG setting.
