''Thunder Alley'' is a 1985 American drama film written and directed by J. S. Cardone and starring Leif Garrett, Roger Wilson, Jill Schoelen, Scott McGinnis, Cindy Eilbacher and Clancy Brown. The film was released on August 1, 1985, by The Cannon Group, Inc. Plot Arizona youth Richie, lives on his dad's farm helping him with his cotton crops. When in town running an errand for his father, he runs into Lorraine the girlfriend of his long time best friend Donnie. She tells him that Donnie's band is currently auditioning to play at a club in town. Richie goes to the club to hear them as they just brought in a new guitar player as Richie is a guitar player as well. The club owner gives them two nights the following week. Greg Chaisson
Greg Chaisson (born August 9, 1958 in Toronto, Canada) is a bass guitarist, singer, songwriter, and producer who has played in various bands, most notably Badlands, which featured former Ozzy Osbourne guitarist Jake E. Lee, vocalist Ray Gillen, and drummers Eric Singer and Jeff Martin, respectively. Biography Chaisson got his start in a popular local Phoenix, Arizona band called Ghost Rose but his first recordings of note came with Surgical Steel and St. Michael, two early 1980s Phoenix bands that both featured his future Badlands bandmate, Jeff Martin. Badlands (American Band)
Badlands was an American heavy metal band founded by former Ozzy Osbourne guitarist Jake E. Lee, former Black Sabbath members Ray Gillen (vocals) and Eric Singer (drums), as well as former Surgical Steel bass player Greg Chaisson. After the first Badlands album, Eric Singer was replaced by Jeff Martin. The group lasted from 1988 to 1993 and released three albums. ''Badlands'' (1989) and ''Voodoo Highway'' (1991) were released before Gillen left and was replaced by singer John West from New York. Gillen's death in 1993 effectively ended any hopes of reuniting the project. The album ''Dusk'' (a demo recorded in 1992–93) was released in 1998 with the then-deceased Gillen on vocals.
