''Thuggin is the second studio album by American rapper, Magic. It was released on August 31, 1999, on No Limit Records and Priority Records. ''Thuggin only found minor success compared to his previous album, peaking at number 53 on the ''Billboard'' 200 and number 9 on the Top R&B/Hip-Hop Albums. The 504 Boyz, which included Magic, remade Wobble Wobble for their hit single on the album ''Goodfellas'' a year later. Magic (rapper)
Awood Johnson Jr. (August 16, 1975March 1, 2013), better known by his stage name Magic (or Mr. Magic), was an American rapper from New Orleans, best known for his stint with No Limit Records in the late 1990s and early 2000s. Early life Born and raised in the Lower Ninth Ward of New Orleans, Louisiana, Awood Johnson first made his name in New Orleans' underground circuit performing in talent shows and in a local group. Magic first appeared on C-Murder's songs "Picture Me" and "Watch Yo Enemies" on his 1998 album '' Life or Death''. He was signed to C-Murder's label Tru Records, a sublabel to No Limit Records. The Medicine Men
The Medicine Men (or Beats by the Pound) are a New Orleans, Louisiana-based American music production team made up of KLC, Mo B. Dick, Craig B, Carlos Stephens, DJ Daryl, and O'Dell. The collective helped sell 30 million records for Master P's No Limit Records, from 1995 to 1999, as well the majority of releases from No Limit Records during the days it was distributed by Priority Records. They would later receive nomination for Producers of the Year and collectively be voted as one of Hip-Hop's "Thirty Most Powerful People" by The Source in 1999. "Wobble Wobble" is the lead single released by the 504 Boyz' debut studio album, ''Goodfellas (504 Boyz album), Goodfellas''. The song was produced by The Medicine Men, Beats By the Pound member Carlos Stephens and featured seven members of the group, Master P, C-Murder, Silkk the Shocker, Mac (rapper), Mac, Magic (rapper), Magic, Krazy (rapper), Krazy and Mystikal. The production incorporates elements of the New Orleans, Louisiana, New Orleans hip-hop subgenre of bounce music. Vyshonn King Miller (born June 18, 1975), better known by his stage name Silkk the Shocker, is an American rapper and actor. He originally went under the stage name Silkk, but later adopted Silkk the Shocker after the release of his first album. He has now signed partnership with his brother Master P and his nephew Romeo label No Limit Forever. Mia Young (born January 9, 1970), better known by her stage name Mia X, is an American rapper and songwriter. She was the first female emcee to get a contract with rapper and entertainment magnate, Master P on his successful record label No Limit Records. McKinley Phipps, Jr. (born July 30, 1977), better known simply as Mac, is an American rapper and songwriter from New Orleans' 3rd Ward. Mac began rapping as a child, releasing his debut album ''The Lyrical Midget'' at the age of 13 in 1990, under the stage name ''Lil Mac''. Mac would eventually sign with Master P's No Limit Records and would grow to be one of the most critically acclaimed artists on the label, both as a solo rapper and as a member of the super group 504 Boyz.
