Lechuza (album)
''Lechuza'' (Spanish "barn owl") is the second studio album by American pop punk band Fenix TX, released on May 22, 2001, by MCA and Drive-Thru Records. Between June and August, the group performed on the Warped Tour. The first song, "Phoebe Cates", is a first-person tale of falling in lust with actress Phoebe Cates. It includes a bridge with the lines "Looking for a fast time / Watching out for bright lights / Send me off to private school / When I'm with you it's paradise", all of which are references to films starring Cates (''Fast Times at Ridgemont High'', '' Bright Lights, Big City'', ''Private School'' and ''Paradise'', respectively). On both the UK and the Japanese issue of the album, two bonus tracks are added — an updated rendition the Spanish Christmas song " Feliz Navidad" and the group's 2000 single "All My Fault" from ''Fenix TX''. The hidden track "James' Song" is placed at the end of the second bonus track, thus shortening the length of track 11 on these issues ... Triad (sociology)
Triad refers to a group of three people in sociology. It is one of the simplest human groups that can be studied and is mostly looked at by microsociology. The study of triads and dyads was pioneered by German sociologist Georg Simmel at the end of the nineteenth century. A triad can be viewed as a group of three people that can create different group interactions. This specific grouping is common yet overlooked in society for many reasons. Those being that it is compared to the lives of others, how they shape society, and how communication plays a role in different relationships scenarios. It was derived in the late 1800s to early 1900s and evolved throughout time to shape group interactions in the present. Simmel also hypothesized between dyads and triads and how they may differ. A dyad is a group of two people that interact while a triad is another person added on to create more communicational interactions. For example: adding an extra person, therefore creating a triad, th ... [...More Info...]       [...Related Items...]     OR:     [Wikipedia]   [Google]   [Baidu]   |

Ménage à Trois
A () is a domestic arrangement and committed relationship with three people in polyamorous romantic or sexual relations with each other, and often dwelling together; typically a traditional marriage between a man and woman along with another individual. The phrase is a loan from French meaning "household of three". Contemporary arrangements are sometimes identified as a throuple, thruple, or triad. Terminology This relationship type has elements of bisexuality involved, but usually at least one of the participants is heterosexual. Because this term is sometimes interchangeably used for a threesome, which solely refers to a sexual experience involving three people, it can sometimes be misrepresented as some type of perversion or casual encounter. However, the ''ménage à trois'' is a specific type of committed relationship, in which vows are often made. It doesn't apply to all polyamorous relationships with three individuals, since polyamory can have many different forms. T ... 3SUM
In computational complexity theory, the 3SUM problem asks if a given set of n real numbers contains three elements that sum to zero. A generalized version, ''k''-SUM, asks the same question on ''k'' numbers. 3SUM can be easily solved in O(n^2) time, and matching \Omega(n^) lower bounds are known in some specialized models of computation . It was conjectured that any deterministic algorithm for the 3SUM requires \Omega(n^2) time. In 2014, the original 3SUM conjecture was refuted by Allan Grønlund and Seth Pettie who gave a deterministic algorithm that solves 3SUM in O(n^2 / ( / )^) time. Additionally, Grønlund and Pettie showed that the 4- linear decision tree complexity of 3SUM is O(n^\sqrt) . These bounds were subsequently improved. The current best known algorithm for 3SUM runs in O(n^2 (\log \log n)^ / ) time. Kane, Lovett, and Moran showed that the 6- linear decision tree complexity of 3SUM is O(n). The latter bound is tight (up to a logarithmic factor). It is still c ... [...More Info...]       [...Related Items...]     OR:     [Wikipedia]   [Google]   [Baidu]   |
