Three Supermen At Tokyo
''3 Supermen a Tokyo'' is a 1968 film directed by Bitto Albertini. Synopsis Two ruthless thieves known as "the supermen" are captured by the government, and in exchange for commuting their sentence they are forced to accompany the agent Martin, who has a mission to find a recording which, if brought to light, would cause a political scandal. But the road is not easy, and they encounter all kinds of obstacles. Production ''3 Supermen a Tokio'' did not have any of the original cast outside Gloria Paul of the original film ''The Three Fantastic Supermen''. ''3 Supermen a Tokio'' was shot in Tokyo. When shooting there, director Bitto Albertini stated that filming was shot with indifference from the Japanese passers-by when shooting a car chase with the scene being shot with hidden cameras in hopes to capture the shocked reactions from the crowd. Bitto Albertini
Adalberto "Bitto" Albertini (1924–1999) was an Italian film director and screenwriter. Career He began his film career as a camera operator and as a cinematographer. In 1974 Albertini directed ''Black Emanuelle'' starring the then almost unknown Laura Gemser. Her subsequent successful career meant that she was absent from ''Black Emanuelle 2'', and Albertini instead cast actress Shulamith Lasri in the title role. In 1977 he released ''Yellow Emanuelle'' as a comeback. The film, starring Chai Lee, was very successful. However the film never reached the popularity of Joe D'Amato's series. His last two films were "Mondo film, Mondos" set in Asia, depicting shocking rituals and savage violence. He died in Italy in 1999 at age 74. Mario Amendola
Mario Natalino Concetto Amendola (8 December 1910 – 22 December 1993) was an Italian screenwriter, film director and dramatist. Biography Amendola was born in Recco, which is located in Genova to parents from Rome. He began his career on stage in 1931 as a writer for avanspettacolo shows. During that time, he wrote dialogue for Erminio Macario, Totò and more. He ended this profession and moved to cinema in 1949. He wrote for 153 films between 1941 and 1987. He also directed 37 films between 1949 and 1975. Amendola collaborated with Bruno Corbucci on conceiving the Nico Giraldi film series starring Tomas Milian. Amendola died in 1993 from complications from diabetes.
