Thrasos Kastanakis
In Greek mythology, Thrasos (Ancient Greek: Θράσος) is the personified concept of boldness. Although the word θράσος itself could be used both in the positive ("courage") and the negative ("over-boldness, insolence") senses, in the only context where Thrasos appears as a personification (a daemon), it is definitely a malicious and suspicious being, mentioned together with Hybris and Atë and opposed to Dike. Boldness
Boldness is the opposite of shyness. To be bold implies a willingness to get things done despite risks. Boldness may be a property that only certain individuals are able to display. For example, in the context of sociability, a bold person may be willing to risk shame or rejection in social situations, or to bend rules of etiquette or politeness. An excessively bold person could aggressively ask for money, or persistently push someone to fulfill a request. The word "bold" may also be used as a synonym of " impudent"; for example, a child may be punished for being "bold" by acting disrespectfully toward an adult or by misbehaving. Daimon or Daemon (Ancient Greek: , "god", "godlike", "power", "fate") originally referred to a lesser deity or guiding spirit such as the daimons of ancient Greek religion and mythology and of later Hellenistic religion and philosophy. Hubris (; ), or less frequently hybris (), describes a personality quality of extreme or excessive pride or dangerous overconfidence, often in combination with (or synonymous with) arrogance. In Greek mythology, Atë, Até or Aite (; Ancient Greek: Ἄτη) was the goddess of mischief, delusion, ruin, and blind folly, rash action and reckless impulse who led men down the path of ruin. Dike (mythology)
In Greek mythology, Dike or Dice ( or ; Greek: ) is the goddess of justice and the spirit of moral order and fair judgement as a transcendent universal ideal or based on immemorial custom, in the sense of socially enforced norms and conventional rules. According to Hesiod (''Theogony'', l. 901), she was fathered by Zeus upon his second consort, Themis. She and her mother are both personifications of justice. She is depicted as a young, slender woman carrying a balance scale and wearing a laurel wreath. The constellation Libra (the Scales) was anciently thought to represent her distinctive symbol.
