Tanya Thornton Shewell (born March 9, 1944) is an American politician and former member of the Maryland House of Delegates. Background Tanya Shewell replaced Carmen Amedori when she was appointed to the Parole Commission by Governor Bob Ehrlich in 2004. In 2007, she became the Deputy Minority Whip in the Maryland House of Delegates. Shewell represents District 5A, which covers Carroll County, MD. The House of Delegates Chamber is in the Maryland State House on State Circle in Annapolis, the state capital. Professor Andre Thorton (real name Truett Hudson; also known as The Professor) is a fictional character appearing in American comic books published by Marvel Comics. He is an enemy of Wolverine and had a hand in his origin as part of the Weapon X Project.
