Thora Rae
Thora Rae (born 15 October 1999) is a field hockey player from Canada. Personal life Thora Rae was born and raised in Vancouver, British Columbia. She is a student at the University of British Columbia. Career Under–21 Thora Rae debuted for the Canada U–21 team in 2019 during a four–nations tournament in Dublin. In 2021, Rae appeared in the team again at the Pan American Junior Championship in Santiago. At the tournament, Rae won a gold medal with the team, scoring once and securing qualification to the FIH Junior World Cup. Senior national team Rae made her senior international debut in 2016, during a test series against New Zealand in Hamilton. In 2022 Rae was named to the national squad for the first time. In January, she represented the team at the Pan American Cup in Santiago, where she won a bronze medal. 2022 Women's FIH Hockey Junior World Cup
The 2022 Women's FIH Hockey Junior World Cup is the ninth edition of the Women's FIH Hockey Junior World Cup, the biennial women's under-21 field hockey world championship organized by the International Hockey Federation. It was scheduled to be held from 5 to 16 December 2021 in Potchefstroom, South Africa. Because of a new COVID-19 variant, the tournament was put on hold on 26 November 2021 and later postponed, with the option to be hosted by South Africa. On 10 January 2022 it was announced the tournament will take place from 2 to 13 April 2022 at the original venue. In February the tournament was moved one day forward to start on 1 and end on 12 April 2022. Argentina were the defending champions. They were defeated 4–1 in the quarter-finals by Germany. Prince Of Wales Country Club
Prince of Wales Country Club is a Chilean sports and recreation club founded in 1925, taking its name from the then Prince of Wales, later to be King Edward VIII who opened the club. Originally it was located in Tobalaba and is now situated in Francisco Bilbao Avenue. The club provides multiple sports facilities including golf, rugby union, field hockey, tennis, football, squash and padel. It also has gymnasia, fitness classes and hosts cultural and social events. A cricket ground is also located there with a capacity for 800 spectators. The cricket ground has hosted touring sides such as the MCC. The Prince of Wales Country Club rugby team holds seven titles of the National Championship of Chile, two of which were tied.
