Thor Mikalsen
Thor Mikalsen (born 12 July 1973) is a retired Norwegian football midfielder. He played second-tier football for Bodø/Glimt in 1989, helped win promotion and the 1993 Norwegian Football Cup Final, remaining in Bodø/Glimt throughout 2000. He played the 2001 season in Bryne and then returned north with two seasons in Fauske/Sprint Fotballklubben Fauske/Sprint is a Norwegian association football club from Fauske, Nordland. Fotballklubben Bodø/Glimt () is a Norwegian professional football club from the town of Bodø that currently plays in Eliteserien, the Norwegian top division. The club was founded in 1916 and is frequently referred to by its original club name, "''Glimt''". Bodø/Glimt are the reigning champions in Norway after winning 2021 Eliteserien. They also have won the now defunct Northern Norwegian Cup nine times, Norwegian Cup twice, the Norwegian top division twice, in 2020 and in 2021, and finished second in 1977, 1993, 2003, and 2019. Bryne Fotballklubb () is a professional football club in Bryne, Norway, that competes in the 1. divisjon, the second tier of Norwegian football. History Bryne has played a total of 17 seasons in the top flight of Norwegian football since their debut in 1976. They had their longest spell of 13 consecutive top tier seasons from 1976 until 1988. Their last stint in the top divisions lasted four seasons from 2000 until the 2003 season, when Bryne, coached by Swede Reine Almqvist, were relegated in the final round of the 2003 Tippeligaen.
