Tot Walsh
Thomas Walsh (12 February 1900 – 22 November 1950) was an English footballer who played as a centre forward. Career Thomas "Tot" Walsh scored 77 goals in reserve team matches during three seasons at Bolton Wanderers. He joined Bristol City in January 1924. During his time with the club he recorded the most League Goals in a match for Bristol City with 6 scored against Gillingham in a Division 3 South match on 15 January 15, 1927. He was also the club's top scorer in both the 1925–26 season (25) and 1926–27 season (32). Walsh moved on to Crystal Palace in May 1928 before returning to Lancashire where he played two games for Mossley in the 1929–30 season. He died in 1950. Thomas Joseph Walsh (20 November 1911 – 8 November 1988) was an Irish doctor, writer, and founder and director of the Wexford Opera Festival.Boydell, B.: "Walsh, T(homas) J(oseph)", in: '' New Grove Dictionary of Opera'' (London and New York: Macmillan, 1997). Life Walsh was born in Wexford, Ireland, and graduated in medicine from University College Dublin in 1944. Thomas Walsh J.P. (7 November 1891 – 25 September 1964) was a British trade unionist. Born in Grangetown, North Yorkshire, Walsh left school at the age of 13 and worked in the steelworks as an errand boy before getting a job in the blastfurnaces. He volunteered to serve in the Connaught Regiment during the First World War. Thomas Walsh (1875–1928) was a poet, literary critic, translator, and scholar of Latin American and Spanish literature. Early life and education Walsh was born in Brooklyn, New York on October 14, 1875 to Michael Kavanagh Walsh and Catherine Farrell Walsh. He lived with his brothers Frank M. Walsh and Edward Maris Walsh, and sisters Lorna Walsh and Lydia Walsh, in the family's Brooklyn home. Walsh was educated at Columbia University, Georgetown, Notre Dame, and Marquette University, from which institutions he received degrees in law, philosophy, and literature. He graduated from Georgetown in 1892, during which year he wrote the class poem, "Columbus." He also composed the Georgetown alumni ode "The Crusaders" in 1901, and read an ode for the dedication of the university's monument to John Carroll in 1912. Thomas "Fat" Walsh (died March 4 or 7, 1929) was a New York mobster involved in narcotics and an associate of Dutch Schultz and Charles "Lucky" Luciano.
