Thomas Devin Reilly ''(Tomás Damhán Ó Raghailligh)'' (30 March 1824 – 5 March 1854) was an Irish revolutionary, Young Irelander and journalist. Early life and Young Ireland Thomas Devin Reilly was born in Monaghan Town on 30 March 1824, the son of Thomas Reilly, a solicitor with a large practice in both Monaghan and Dublin. His early education was spent at Huddart's seminary in Usher's Quay, Dublin, and in 1842, would enrol in Trinity College, Dublin. According to John Mitchel, Reilly, at the age of fifteen, "was attacked by a fit of some kind resembling apoplexy." In 1845, Devin Reilly would join the editorial staff of ''The Nation'', becoming a regular contributor. Thomas Reilly was Dean of Ardagh from 1913 until 1920. He was educated at Trinity College, Dublin and ordained deacon in 1876 and priest in 1877. He began his ecclesiastical career with a curacy at Kilashee. After this he was the Incumbent of Cashel from 1878 until 1882. Thomas Henry Reilly (August 3, 1884 – October 18, 1918) was a right-handed Major League Baseball shortstop who played for three seasons. He played for the St. Louis Cardinals from 1908 to 1909 and the Cleveland Naps in 1914. He played his first game on July 27, 1908, and his last game on July 3, 1914. He was born in St. Louis, Missouri and died of pneumonia in New Orleans, Louisiana. Clarence Thomas (born June 23, 1948) is an American jurist who serves as an associate justice of the Supreme Court of the United States. He was nominated by President George H. W. Bush to succeed Thurgood Marshall and has served since 1991. After Marshall, Thomas is the second African American to serve on the Court and its longest-serving member since Anthony Kennedy's retirement in 2018. Thomas was born in Pin Point, Georgia. After his father abandoned the family, he was raised by his grandfather in a poor Gullah community near Savannah. Growing up as a devout Catholic, Thomas originally intended to be a priest in the Catholic Church but was frustrated over the church's insufficient attempts to combat racism. He began studying violin at eight and began playing harmonica at aged eleven as a member of his father's band. In the 1940s, he began parallel careers as a concert soloist and recitalist, a popular radio and TV performer, and a studio musician-composer. Thomas Michael Reilly III (born June 18, 1959, in Fort Riley North, Kansas) is an American actor, known for his role as Officer Bobby "Hot Dog" Nelson in ''CHiPs'', a television series about the motorcycle officers of the California Highway Patrol. Thomas Reilly (born 15 September 1994) is a professional footballer who plays as a midfielder or forward for Darvel. He has also played for St Mirren, Elgin City, Forfar Athletic and Kelty Hearts, as well as Albion Rovers on loan. Club career St Mirren Reilly was born in Irvine.
