Thomas Prinzhorn
Thomas Prinzhorn (born 5 March 1943 in Vienna) is an Austrian industrialist and politician of the national liberal party Alliance for the Future of Austria (BZÖ). Education Prinzhorn was educated in engineering at the Technical University of Vienna, where he graduated in 1967 as ''Diplomingenieur'' (Master of Engineering), and subsequently studied business administration at Harvard University, graduating in 1973. Business and political careers Prinzhorn inherited his father Harald's business empire (Prinzhorn Group) and became one of Austria's leading industrialists in the 1970s. He served on the board of the Federation of Austrian Industry from 1978. With a personal fortune of around 1.3 billion euro, he is considered Austria's second richest politician and the 9th richest Austrian (as of 2017). The President of the National Council is the presiding officer of the National Council, the lower house of the Austrian Parliament. Since December 2017 Wolfgang Sobotka (ÖVP) has served as the current President of the National Council, Doris Bures (SPÖ) as the Second President and Norbert Hofer (FPÖ) as the Third. All three Presidents together form the Presidium of the National Council. In the Austrian order of precedence the President of the National Council places after the President and before the Chancellor. Prince Karel of Schwarzenberg (, born 10 December 1937) is a Czech politician, former leader of the TOP 09 party and was its candidate for president of the Czech Republic in the 2013 election. Jörg Haider
Jörg Haider (; 26 January 1950 – 11 October 2008) was an Austrian politician. He was Governor of Carinthia on two occasions, the long-time leader of the Freedom Party of Austria (FPÖ) and later Chairman of the Alliance for the Future of Austria (Bündnis Zukunft Österreich, BZÖ), a breakaway party from the FPÖ. Haider was a controversial figure within Austria and abroad. Several countries imposed mild diplomatic sanctions against his party's participation in government alongside Wolfgang Schüssel's Austrian People's Party (ÖVP), starting from 2000.
