Sir Thomas Page (1613 – 8 August 1681) was an English academic. Page was born at Uxenden and educated at Eton College. He entered King's College, Cambridge in 1628, graduating B.A. in 1632 and M.A. in 1636. He was Fellow of Kings from 1631 to 1675; and Provost from 1675 to his death on 8 August 1681. He was Vice-Chancellor of the University of Cambridge from 1676 to 1677. Sir Thomas Hyde Page, Fellow of the Royal Society#Fellows, FRS (1746–1821) was a decorated British military engineer and cartographer for the British crown. In 1777 he married Susanna, widow of Edmund Bastard of Kitley, Devon, and sister of Crawley-Boevey baronets, Sir Thomas Crawley-Boevey, baronet. In 1783 he married Mary Albinia (d. 1794), daughter of John Woodward (formerly captain in the 70th regiment) of Ringwould, Kent, and they had five children. Thomas Scudder Page (April 19, 1800 – April 17, 1877) was Kentucky's first elected auditor of public accounts, and the first elected official to be tried for corruption in that state. Biography He was born in New York City, and moved to Kentucky in 1817. He became a clerk with the Land Office and in 1839 was appointed auditor by Governor James Clark. Under Kentucky's third constitution, auditor became an elected position. Page was elected in 1851 as a Whig and in 1855 with the Know Nothing party. Thomas Page (26 October 1803 – 8 January 1877) was a British architect and civil engineer, who was responsible for the design and construction of many bridges, including Westminster Bridge and the first Chelsea Bridge (both crossing the River Thames) Early life Page was born in London on 26 October 1803. Thomas Jefferson Page
Thomas Jefferson Page (January 4, 1808 -October 23, 1899, Rome) was a career officer in the United States Navy. Under his command USS ''Water Witch'' made the first detailed hydrological studies of the River Plate basin. When Virginia seceded, he resigned to serve in the Confederate Army and later its Navy. Late in the war, Page was captain of the ironclad CSS ''Stonewall''. After the war, he moved to Argentina, where there developed an American community of former Confederates in exile. He was politically active and established a cattle ranch. He assisted the government with its defensive installations and modernizing its navy. After serving as secretary to the Argentine diplomatic mission to Italy, Page moved to Rome with his family. They became part of its American community. Thomas Nelson Page (April 23, 1853 – November 1, 1922) was an American lawyer, politician, and writer. He served as the U.S. ambassador to Italy from 1913 to 1919 under the administration of President Woodrow Wilson during World War I. Thomas Howard Page (28 May 1872 — 7 December 1953) was an English first-class cricketer. The son of George Page, he was born at Dover in May 1872. He grew up in Southampton and was educated at St Edward's School, Oxford. Page made two appearances in first-class cricket in the 1900 County Championship, against Essex at Leyton and Surrey at Bournemouth. Tom Page (footballer)
Thomas Page (15 November 1888 – 26 October 1973) was an English footballer and international baseball player. Three of his brothers, Louis, Jack and Willie, were also professional footballers. Career Page played for Carada, Pembroke, and Rochdale, before spending six weeks at Everton in 1913. He then moved on to St Mirren, and guested for South Liverpool during World War I. He had a trial with Liverpool before joining Port Vale for £400 in June 1920. He hit nine goals in 41 appearances in 1920–21, including one in the 2–1 Potteries derby victory over Stoke at The Old Recreation Ground on 25 September, the club's first league goal against Stoke. He was top scorer in the 1921–22 season with 10 goals in 39 games, helping the team to share the North Staffordshire Infirmary Cup in 1922. He also scored another goal against Stoke on 7 January, in a 4–2 defeat in the FA Cup First Round tie at the Victoria Ground. However, he struck just once in 26 games in 1922–23. ...
