Tommy Orr
Thomas Bingham Orr (21 April 1924 – 20 June 1972) was a Scottish footballer, who played as an inside forward for Greenock Morton. Playing for Morton Juniors, Orr appeared in the 1940 Scottish Junior Cup Final alongside Nelson Black. Morton lost 1–0 to Maryhill. As well as his 86 goals in 257 league appearances for Greenock Morton, Orr totalled 18 in 56 in the League Cup. He also scored three times in 28 Scottish Cup matches, and was a member of the side that reached the final in 1948. Orr was capped for the Scotland national team twice, against Wales and Northern Ireland, both in 1951. He scored the first goal against Northern Ireland in a 3–0 win. Orr retired from football in 1958. His son Neil Orr also became a professional footballer. Thomas Orr (born 13 January 1997) is a Scottish professional footballer, who plays as a striker for Stranraer. Orr has previously played for Greenock Morton, East Stirlingshire, Livingston, Queen's Park, BSC Glasgow, Stenhousemuir and Stranraer. Career Morton Having scored 24 goals by February for Morton's under-17 side, Orr signed a full-time two-year contract with Morton in May 2014. He made his first-team debut for the first team in a Scottish League One match against Stranraer as a 79th-minute substitute for Michael Miller. Orr scored his first goal at Cappielow for the senior side in kitman Andy Bryan's testimonial against Celtic. Orr agreed a new one-year deal to stay at Morton for the 2016–17 season. He was released along with John Mitchell and Alex McWaters in May 2017. Thomas Samuel Orr (August 27, 1877 – December 11, 1954) was an American racing driver from Chicago, Illinois. He competed in the AAA Championship Car series in 1914 and 1915 making five starts including the 1915 Indianapolis 500. All of his race starts were behind the wheel of a Maxwell, for whom he was an engineer.
