Thomas M. Paschal
Thomas Moore Paschal (December 15, 1845 – January 28, 1919) was a U.S. Representative from Texas. Born in Alexandria, Rapides Parish, Louisiana, Paschal moved with his parents to San Antonio, Texas, in 1846. He was educated in private schools. He attended St. Mary's College, San Antonio, Texas. He was graduated from Centre College, Danville, Kentucky, in 1866. He studied law. He was admitted to the bar in 1867 and commenced practice in San Antonio. He was city attorney in 1867. He served as United States commissioner for the western district of Texas 1867 to 1869. He served as judge of the district criminal court for San Antonio in 1870 and 1871. He moved to Castroville, Texas, in 1870. He served as district attorney of the twenty-fourth district from 1871 to 1875. He moved to Brackett, King County, in 1873. Danville is a home rule-class city in Boyle County, Kentucky, United States. It is the seat of its county. The population was 17,236 at the 2020 Census. Danville is the principal city of the Danville Micropolitan Statistical Area, which includes all of the Boyle and Lincoln counties. Castroville, Texas
Castroville is a city in Medina County, Texas, United States. Its population was 2,680 at the 2010 census. Prior to 1893, Castroville was the first county seat of Medina County. Castroville was founded by Alsatian-Texans who were mostly Germanic speaking people who came to Texas during the German emigration period of the mid 1800s. Most Alsatians who came to Castroville spoke Alsatian (a dialect of German origin integrating Celtic, Yiddish, and French words). The Alsatian culture and language are still kept alive by the residents of Castroville. Rapides Parish, Louisiana
Rapides Parish () (french: Paroisse des Rapides) is a parish located in the U.S. state of Louisiana. As of the 2010 census, the population was 131,613. The parish seat is Alexandria, which developed along the Red River of the South. ''Rapides'' is the French word for " rapids". The parish was created in 1807 after the United States acquired this territory in the Louisiana Purchase. Rapides Parish is included in the Alexandria metropolitan area, Louisiana. History In 1763, the land that is now Rapides Parish became the new home of the Apalachee tribe, who were settled there with the permission of Governor Kerlerec.
