Thomas G. Reynolds
Thomas G. Reynolds (born December 16, 1956) is a former American politician who served in the Wisconsin State Senate, representing the 5th district. He is a former member of the Republican Party of Wisconsin. Reynolds was born in Milwaukee, Wisconsin and graduated from Nathan Hale High School in 1975. In addition to serving in the state senate, Reynolds is the owner of a printing business and an organic-practicing farm. He has five children. Reynolds was elected to the Wisconsin Senate in 2002 after defeating incumbent Sen. Peggy Rosenzweig, who Reynolds claimed was too liberal, in the Republican primary that April. Before his defeat in 2006, he sat on the Committee on Housing and Financial Institutions, the Committee on Job Creation, Economic Development and Consumer Affairs, the Joint Committee for Review of Administrative Rules, and chaired the Committee on Labor and Election Process Reform. Wisconsin Senate, District 5
The 5th Senate district of Wisconsin is one of 33 districts in the Wisconsin State Senate. Located in southeast Wisconsin, the district is composed of parts of western Milwaukee County, and eastern Waukesha County. It includes the cities of Brookfield, New Berlin, and Wauwatosa, as well as most of the city of West Allis. Gerald Daniel Kleczka (; November 26, 1943 – October 8, 2017) was an American politician and Democratic member of the United States House of Representatives from 1984 to 2005, representing . The district included the city of Milwaukee. Life and education After graduating from Milwaukee's Don Bosco High School, in 1961, he attended the University of Wisconsin–Milwaukee for two years. Afterward, he served as an accountant and a member of the National Guard. Politics Kleczka was elected to the Wisconsin State Assembly, serving from 1969 to 1974.
