Thomas E. Stanley
Thomas Edward Stanley II (May 1, 1917 in North Carolina – January 23, 2001 in Dallas, Texas) was a Dallas-based United States, American architect. He is known for his modernist glass and steel designs for buildings such as 211 North Ervay (1958) with architect Wyatt C. Hedrick and the The Drever, First National Bank Tower (1965) with architect George Dahl. He is also known for his use of minimalist classical designs (often called New Formalism (architecture), New Formalism) for buildings such as the Sanger-Harris Building, Sanger-Harris department store (1965) in Dallas, Texas and the Cambridge Tower (1965) in Austin, Texas. Find a Grave is a website that allows the public to search and add to an online database of cemetery records. It is owned by Ancestry.com. Its stated mission is "to help people from all over the world work together to find, record and present final disposition information as a virtual cemetery experience." Regions Tower, also known as One Indiana Square, is a 36-story building at 211 North Pennsylvania Street in downtown Indianapolis, Indiana, United States. It is used by various companies for offices. The building opened in 1970 as the headquarters of Indiana National Bank. The building now serves as the Indiana headquarters for Regions Financial Corporation. The building also carries the Regions name and logo. The tower rises from a multi-story base and covers the southern half of the block bounded by Pennsylvania, New York, Delaware, and Ohio streets. The Trump International Hotel and Tower, originally the Gulf and Western Building, is a high-rise building at 15 Columbus Circle and 1 Central Park West on the Upper West Side of Manhattan, New York City. It was originally designed by Thomas E. Stanley as an office building and completed in 1970 as the headquarters of Gulf and Western Industries. In the mid-1990s, a joint venture composed of the General Electric Pension Fund, Galbreath Company, and developer Donald Trump renovated the building into a hotel and residential tower. Corrigan Tower, also known as 1900 Pacific or 1900 Pacific Residences, is a high rise located at 1900 Pacific Avenue in the City Center District of Dallas, Texas.
