Thomas Danielsen
Thomas Nolsøe Danielsen (born 24 June 1983 in Fjerritslev) is a Danish politician who has been serving as Minister for Transport since December 2022. He is also a member of the Folketing for the Venstre political party, elected into parliament at the 2011 Danish general election. Early life and career Danielsen trained as a heavy goods vehicle mechanic with Iveco in 2004 and later trained as a banking consultant in 2009. He worked at Sparekassen Holstebro from 2009 until 2011 before being elected to parliament. Political career Danielsen was a member of the municipal council of Holstebro Municipality from 2006 to 2013. Danielsen was first elected into parliament at the 2011 Danish general election, receiving 5,873 votes. The Danish Ministry of Transport ( da, Transportministeriet) is the Danish ministry in charge of coordinating and realizing the transport politics of Denmark. 2019 Danish General Election
General elections were held in the Kingdom of Denmark on 5 June 2019 to elect all 179 members of the Folketing; 175 in Denmark proper, two in the Faroe Islands and two in Greenland. The elections took place ten days after the European Parliament elections. Holstebro Municipality
Holstebro Municipality is a municipality (Danish, '' kommune'') in Region Midtjylland on the Jutland peninsula in west Denmark. Mette Frederiksen
Mette Frederiksen (; born 19 November 1977) is a Danish politician who has been Prime Minister of Denmark since June 2019, and Leader of the Social Democrats since June 2015. The second woman to hold either office, she is also the youngest prime minister in Danish history. Besides a brief career as a trade unionist (2000–2001), Frederiksen has never had any employment outside politics. She was first elected to the Folketing in the 2001 general election, representing Copenhagen County. After the Social Democrats won the 2011 general election, she was appointed Minister of Employment by Prime Minister Helle Thorning-Schmidt. She was promoted to Minister of Justice in 2014.
