Thomas Mayne Daly
Thomas Mayne Daly, (August 16, 1852 – June 24, 1911) was a Canadian politician. Born in Stratford, Canada West (now Ontario), the son of Thomas Mayne Daly (1827–1885) and Helen McLaren (Ferguson) Daly, his father was a member of the House of Commons of Canada for the riding of Perth North. His grandfather, John Corry Wilson Daly, was the first mayor of Stratford. He was educated as a lawyer and was called to the Law Society of Upper Canada in 1876. He practised law in Stratford until 1881. In 1881, he moved to Brandon, Manitoba and practised law in partnership with George Robson Coldwell. In 1882, he was elected the first mayor of Brandon. During his first six-month term, Daly initiated a civic development program which allowed for raising $150 000 through debentures. He resigned as Mayor in December 1882. Thomas Daly (Irish Politician)
Thomas Daly (born June 1938), known as Tom Daly, was an Irish nationalist politician. Born in Belleek, County Fermanagh, Daly studied at St Columb's College before becoming a pub landlord. He joined the Nationalist Party, and was elected to Fermanagh County Council in 1968, serving until its abolition in 1972. The following year, he was a founder member of the Fermanagh branch of the Social Democratic and Labour Party (SDLP), and was elected under this new label to the Northern Ireland Assembly, 1973, in which he represented Fermanagh and South Tyrone. He was also elected to the new Fermanagh District Council, serving as its first vice-chairman. Daly held his Fermanagh and South Tyrone seat on the 1975 Northern Ireland Constitutional Convention, and also held his council seat at the 1977 Northern Ireland local elections, but did not stand at the following elections, in 1981,

Thomas Daly (February 21, 1861 – November 17, 1908) was a politician in Alberta, Canada and a municipal councillor in Edmonton Biography Daly was born in Letterbreen, Ireland and immigrated to Canada in 1881. He spent two years in Manitoba and moved to Alberta in 1883 to homestead at Clover Bar. He exhibited his oats at the 1893 Chicago World's Fair and won first prize; he is sometimes credited with establishing Alberta's reputation as an oats producer. He later turned to apple farming. Thomas Anthony Daly (born April 30, 1960) is an American prelate of the Roman Catholic Church. He has been serving as bishop of the Diocese of Spokane in Washington State since May 20, 2015. He previously served as an auxiliary bishop of the Diocese of San José in California from 2011 to 2015. Biography Early life Thomas Daly was born on April 30, 1960, in San Francisco, California. He attended St. Patrick Seminary in Menlo Park, California. Daly earned his bachelor degree from the University of San Francisco in 1982. Thomas Aquinas Daly (born March 27, 1937) is an American contemporary landscape and still life painter. Educated as a graphic artist at the University at Buffalo, Daly spent 23 years working in the commercial printing business before leaving it in 1981 to devote his full attention to painting. Since then, his work has been displayed in numerous solo exhibitions at galleries, museums and universities throughout the country. President Gerald R. Ford recognized Daly's talent by awarding him Grand Central Art Galleries' Gold Medal at the opening of his 1987 show in New York. In addition to painting, Daly has produced two books: ''Painting Nature's Quiet Places'' (Watson-Guptill, 1985) and ''The Art of Thomas Aquinas Daly: The Painting Season'' (1998).
